haha ya its really good. a lot of people dont expect it. also now i found that this works or so far it has for me. when you knock down your opponent just do cr.jab and make them think that you are gonna do those crouching combos and then just fierce command throw. dont actually hit them just do it right before they get up and command throw. i found it to work pretty well. thanks for all the comments guys! the feedback is awesome :lovin:

eh sometimes his cr.fp doesnt launch. i remember once after i blocked ken’s ultra, literally points blank and i did cr.fp and i only got the first hit. it happened twice that day! im glad to see that they didnt fix it…cr.fp is weird sometimes. i was hoping for some good tweaks for abel but i guess it didnt happen… from my experience i see it happen more often against ryu/ken and fuerte. ryu and ken arent as bad but for some reason against ryu it happens more often than ken. fuerte it just really hard to hit him with it.

Yeah that happened to me too, really pissed me off. Some guy randomly mashed out Ken’s ultra and missed so I punished him with cr. FP at the closest possible range, but even though the first hit connected the second hit missed. But what really pissed me off is that Ken then mashed out a super and it hit me while I was still recovering from the cr. FP! The guy totally had no idea what he was doing, all I could think was “are you fucking serious?”

Thanks for putting up some vids of your abel busta. I just started playing sf4 again and trying to learn how to play abel and your vids tought me alot of stuff. =D
glad to hear! the more abel players the better! ill try to get more vids recorded (even casuals) cuz i dont think there are any tournies any time soon. hopefully i can get more up and get some feedback/teach others some stuff about abel!
nice vids bustabust, the last minute of that match against boxer’s hilarious (not in a bad way) with both having ultra and little stamina left and you doing the qcfx2 motion (probably while holding PPP too) lol…
your execution of moves are really good. im still learning to pull off sadc combos smoothly and reacting better (especially against quick players)…oh and whadya think of empty jump in > throw/command throw? ive been getting good results with that strategy…
btw you’re playing next to your opponent, right? doesnt that take away the some surprise element or summin… e.g. when youre playing against blanka and he decided to do wake up ultra, you can clearly see he’s charging/preparing for the move (fingers on PPP etc)…
well denjin does have the set up so that you can play anyone including the person playing on the cab next to you(well there is a bb machine in between) but during tourny they made it so it was head to head so my opponent was on the other side. empty jump is actually pretty good but when i was doing it i was playing scrubs/aka mashers/aka i only use shoto’s/aka i got srk’ed most of the time. the arcade i play at doesnt have to many good players/we dont meet up so majority of the time its people just playing the game or scrubs. not to be mean but they are scrubs.
ah i see… hmm im inspired to record videos of my matches too now :D.
hopefully someone brings a camera to the freeplay thing tomorrow.
anyway, close hp can be cancelled into rekka eh? i cant seem to get the timing right…
