No, he got the f+mk in, and timed the st.HP perfectly so it links.
well fuerte’s that know how to do the infinite tend ot try to find an opening to get it off. like jump off wall elbow into infinite or crumple infinite so obviously dont let him get that opportunity. i know kai knows how to tdo the infinite really well so i made sure he didnt pull it off on me. back dash is pretty good and really i mean it depends. how is the fuerte you usually play playing? really you juts gotta adapt. when fuerte is getting up his wake up game sucks imho. all he has is either throw, the air grab thing with his legs, or ultra for the most part. if you watch my match i did close st.rh on his wake up and it works well. im sure any move would work there but it stopped him from getting that air grab thing. look/wait for your openings. eh im tired of typing. if this doesnt help just post specifically what you ened help on against fuerte and do it in the match ups thread.

as for el fuerte wakeup shinanigans… seriously guys. we have a roll.
one of the fek toons on the game that can escape any shinanigans because we have a roll to reset things like that.
backdash when he comes off the wall is the only other counter i know.
but other than that… its a 100% guessing game.

thats part of his shenanigans, if he does the tortilla propeller or w/e its called it still throws you out of the roll. part of fuerte’s shenanigans… he doesnt just use splash over and over.
