Neko did a lot of meaty low strong against fuerte, I wonder what the significance of that is
i do this too. I think the reason behind it is, say if fuerte doesnt reversal you get a blocked low strong and you’re still close enough to get in/ pressure or w/e. now if fuerte does a reversal (ex run into either throw or hit w/e his gay moves are called) then u get a low strong and he gets dmged (gray dmg) now if he does actually commit with a follow up from the run jump fierce stuffs it. thats beefy dmg on fuerte. if fuerte does ex guacamole, depending on the which direction you jump fierce, the crouch strong will whiff, and if u do jump back fierce when fuerte does ex guac, you jump away from him. If after the cr.mp you jump forward wit hfierce, you jump with him but he obviously lands before you. the reason he does cr.mp too over other normals is because his other ones take too long or are too fast / weak. better to get more gray dmg with cr.mp than lk’s/lp’s and fierce / rh take too long to do this option.
