u can punish blocked condor dives with U2 as well. that is if we are talking about the same moves (the one where hawk is in the air and dives head first at you, kinda like juri’s dive kick)

i dont main abel but i can definitely give you a few pointers

instead of jumping, u can dash or marseilles roll or walk slowly forward, jumping isnt a very good idea with abel.

wheel kick on your opponents wakeup isnt a very good move unless their character has really garbage wakeup defense (people with shoryukens will reversal you) Its a great moving for punishing fireballs though.

Use more forward+mk dash. Its a good tool to get in on people and start abels mix-up.

Yeah that robin guys not bad, classic Japanese patient abel play till knockdown then work those ambig crossups when you do get one.
I liked the way when he uses the hit confirm cr lp off the ambig roll soon as he saw it get blocked he went for step kick. Smart move as not only is that the best frame trap off cr lp to stepkick if they are trying to jump out you might get the dash to crossup for high level mind fuck.

Why they need to increase recovery of Akuma’s whiffed dive kick throw. Query why Tokido don’t do option select dp when he whiffed a couple of dive kick throws though.

I prefer Robin over Pikagoma, I’m not sure why, sometimes Pikagoma sort of, I dunno, overthinks things. I still think they’re a level under Ojisan/Shiro/dragonboy though.
