Why not punish the upwards thunder knuckle with crouching hard punch? From what i saw, you weren’t doing that. Always works for me.
Same here… at certain distances you might only get one hit, so learn those ranges.
yeah, like i said my matchup knowledge against viper is not good, plus even if ive read about it, didnt get any practice against any vipers… i tried to punish certain things but learned that its not possible, i fought the viper again last night and won 9-1 but i had this bad habit of trying to punish a blocked ex thunder knuckle with a sweep, which will never work btw lol but its just tempting…
need to learn my range better, no doubt bout that

Frame data wise, yes you can. Maybe only possible for close range f.mk, really depends on whether the honda lands in f.mk range or not… someone test this? Im off to school now. 
will test for myself later though, im entering a 2on2 trf tourney tomorrow with a guile lol so im hitting the training mode anyway.
Honda’s hitbox on the hit F.MK->s.FP were killing him, coulda easily down a ton of damage and won id say if it wasnt so situational to land
