Iāve had a couple combos that only work on certain characters, but the fuckers donāt die or die too early so I had to totally rearrange or scrap them.
Iāll keep saying though, that itās actually fun keeping up the whole last hit = dead thing, as crafting the combo becomes that much moreā¦ artistic? lol

Iām old too, and while I sort of agree with him I donāt really care about the competitive side of things anymore, so I just treat it like a puzzle game and try to do combosā¦ Derp.
Maiz is rightā¦ but one interesting thing I learned is that mags hypergrav (maybe all capture states?) will actually reset this stored spike. It resets the ability to TAC as well, which is weird.
He said marvel players actually, which primarily exist in north america anyway lol. Doesnāt matter, I know Iām not dedicating a boat load of time to this game. I get a kick out of devils advocate especially in that thread where they take themselves so seriously. Granted when I do play it, I play the shit out of it, but Iām hardly being optimal. Most of the time itās more like trying to pull one out as an underdog so I can point my finger and go Ahhhhh haa!

Canāt say I agree with your team. Ghost Rider imo has very little place. On MODOK you need to optimize your combos. Zero should NOT survive once you have him in a combo. Work on your corner pressure and Iād say never X factor to save a character thatās almost dead unless you are ToDing people with that character.
You opponent wasnāt very good but considering his team good show!
Im definitely going to practice TOD with modok, especially against zero.
And that was my old team, idk why I used it. I now use doctor strange or dormammu as anchors.
Ummm i think the very best way MODOK can play is if you abuse his ability to airdash right off the ground with his quick startup and use an assist. Stay above zero while using an anti-air assist and only get close to him when itās your advantage, that way he canāt use the buster and heāll get hit lots trying to get to you.
Youāre an awesome modok btw, but your opponents would REALLY be in trouble if you comboād into jamming bomb whenever you wall or ground bounced them
Most importantly if heās somewhat close and uses lightning, try to build a reaction to block the other way, seriously damn thing is an air bezerker slash thatās basically safe 80% of the time.

not sure who this is. not the greatest modok out there but he is making great use of doom beam. maybe i should use thsg instead of missiles but drones almost do through same thing. Bahama guess back to the labā¦
Thatās Dire I think.
Iām glad Dire plays at Bums because not only does he have some unique teams but he usually gives people a run for their money while repping MODOK. That stream has become one of my favorites by far because of the player skill and character diversity. Iām glad that he won that set because MODOK destroys bumās team sooo bad, though.

Does anyone know why he X-factored at 1:20? MODOK can block during his flight.

^ He only had a tiny bit of life leftā¦ and Hulk was about to push a flaming meteor into his face. He was afraid of getting chipped out I think.
As soon as I saw the super activate I was like āoh shi- heās doneā, but the x-factor saved him.
Reminder that japanās first UMVC3 major starts tonight. Hopefully we see a Modok player, if not it will still be interesting to see japanās take on this game competitively.
