Smash Bros? you are talking about Melee right? That game is the shit, i used to be hella good at it. Havent played in a while though, i think I almost have all the trophies! I didnt know anyone else played that game.
Yeah I’m talking about melee. The game actually has a huge tournament scene, and is even being considered for the next evo. Personally, I think the complexity level of the game is a little higher than super turbo. But Whatever level of complexity it is, it’s just alot of fun to play. Hopefully the Vallejo players will come through on this game at the 1/10 tilit tournament.
Yo all, I’m back from Trinidad and I remember blk_brotha saying he’ll be back yesterday (the 29th) did that happen? if so, let’s get some playing in!

Tharimrattler just in case I don’t get all the chars and stages in time, do you mind bringing your gcn mem card so i could copy the save over? This isn’t necessary, but it would sure be nice to have all the stages and chars.
For smash bros, Were not too sure about the turnout because of the the big Smash Bros. tournament next week in LA. If you guys know any smash players be sure to tell them about this tourney. Serious or non-serious.

What’s up everybody. I know it’s been a while, not long enough as far as I’m concerned. Anyway, I’m back with another grievance. The thing is I don’t know if fight nights are sanctioned by the actual Tilt management, or if they are only held at the discretion of whoever is working that night so I don’t know if my complaint will even be considered.
Basically I came to last nights fight night with 3 other people expecting the usual games to be on 1 token play. John was the one working so we ask him if he will make the games to token play. He refuses us. Then three other non-regulars come in and also wonder why the games weren’t on token play. I enter the conversation with them to try to convince John to make the games token play. He refuses again and actually tells us to just leave and make his job easier. Although he said it in a joking manner, this was a particular time he shouldn’t have done that.
Those three non-regulars as well as one of the people I was with drove from Sacramento, and the other person I was with will only be in 707 this week. All of us, including some regulars expected fight night to go accordingly. There wasn’t any technical reason why John couldn’t make the games token play, he just didn’t do it because he was lazy. I heard Brian isn’t the manager anymore, so I don’t know who to talk to about this. If someone were to be so kind as to point this complaint to the right person, I would recommend that John get fired.
Hehe actually John really does not care about his job anymore and he did tell me that straight when I was playing a couple games at his place. He actually want’s to get fired in the first place so that way it forces him to get a better job and actually work for a chance.
I really don’t know what Brian is doing. So yeah for the time being the Tilt really doesn’t have a true manager but Brian still helps manage the Westfield Tilt from time to time.
Too bad. John was pretty cool…on another note, are all the employees of Tilt aware of the console ssbm tourney that we’re going to have? I only talked to Brian about this and it wouldn’t be cool on the tourney day them saying “what are you guys doing?” or “get that stuff out of here.” Just wondering.
Well, I just called and asked, and john said they were going to set it up. So I guess that means they’re ready.
Wow, so much john hate going on. Is john worse than conrad though? Man that guy was an asshole. You could really tell he hated his job with a passion. Then he brought it into work with him every single day and took it out on everyone.
Anyway, i’ll be at the arcade when it opens and I’ll be playing some cvs2, and maybe some marvel(even though i’m horrible).
I dont know which dude john is but when I was trying to play mvc2 the machine didnt count one of my tokens. I told the worker and it honestly took about 10 mins for him to give me my credit. Maybe he was busy but I doubt it.
He wants to get fired? Who actually wants to get fired from a job, unless it is to collect unemployment. I doubt you could even obtain that working at an arcade.
Wel, I gess he didn’t like tekken players then, because he was nothing but an ass toward me, my brother(who was at the arcade nearly very day mind you) and a couple of ther tekken players. My brother just told me a story, where he asked him to fix the sticks for ttt. He told my brother thats how tekken sticks are supposed to feel like. He then old my brother, he should know because he was tekken 2 champion. :lol: whatever man. Yeah I guess he did his job, but he sure was an ignorant ass when he did it. joh was always cool, and always said something, unlike conrad who would give you a stare of death when you tried to acknowledge him. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be fired though, he deserves it after all the stuff he did.
