I’ve been very quiet about the console gatherings. The fact is that ever since my entire family of 8 people are living in the house for a very long time they don’t even want me to have any console gatherings again in the house.
House wise yeah it’s gotten a lot worse then before. My parents wouldn’t mind if I hold console gatherings but it’s my older brother and wife that have serious issues.

Just thought I let you guys know that the ssbm tourney was a big success and the biggest of the day; 18 compared to cvs2’s 13. Suprisingly, there were 2 major tournaments in close proximity to the Tilt tourney. Next month according to ssbm players, turnout will be a lot better (approx. 25-40 heads) because all of the bay area willl be able to show.

Practice day is every Sunday. The store doesn’t use tokens. More room to move. Four big screens.
Out of curiosity, do we have any idea when next month the next one will be? I was told first Sat of Feb, but I’m not sure how reliable the info was…
For now do not rely on the first Saturday of Feb until the date has been confirmed.
Yeah, basically, when miyagisan (the manager) decides on a date in Feb, that’s when we’ll be throwing the next one. It’s normally never the 1st Saturday of the month, it’ll probably be the 2nd or 3rd.
The only reason I ask is because I don’t necessarily get that day off, and it’d be best to have a date in mind by Wednesday the week before, so I can ask it off if need be.

I just talked to alex and he has no idea. These tournaments may not be monthly until bryan turns over 100% control of tilt to Alex. So until then we’ll probably have a tournament every couple of months or so(like we’ve been doing). As a substitute I might be willing to throw one at my house(if it’s ok with the moms) along with tekken, but no capcom games. Those games don’t seem to work well non-arcade. I’ll talk to my brother about this later.
I’d be willing to if I could get another capcom player I know to go with me.
