games pre-SF4 dont even compare to these new fighters,
honestly the game that’s an exception to this rule is KOF13, this game is truly the only game that has the potental to be played for the next 10 years. all these other games are a joke. ( strictly speaking 2D fighters)
fuck SFxT. who wants a game that has throws with 7 frames start up w/ no range and crappy walk speed. lol. what a fucken joke.
so 3s being like SFxT is a ploy, niggas need to get off that bullshit. stop lying!
tldr: CAPCOM SUCKES AT MAKING FIGHTERS NOW. PLAY A FIGHTING GAME MADE MY A DIFFERENT COMPANY.
they jiggle like painted water balloons.
but i would kiss lili and asuka’s jpn voice actresses on the mouth so that makes it ok.
it’s more fun than sf4. the only problem is capcom’s insistence on making jab 100% safe for every character. but i think how the game seems to play will be a bit different in 2 months. further from sf4.
The only fighter i’ve seriously played in the past 10 years is 3s and SFxT is kinda fun, but thats only because i can basically kill someone in 1 combo with my team and i have divekicks + stupid pressure. I certainly don’t like the game BECAUSE I’m a 3s player.
That being said, 3s will never have another game to live up to it for me.
Why are people trying to find a game “like” third strike in the first place? 3s is here this year, it’s at tougeki and qualifiers will be hype, start training faggots and stop trying to find a game that hasn’t gone anywhere.
For me Vanilla is arcade Vanilla, and that didn’t have Seth, which I like. Also there was the Rh, lp, Rh, lp etc loop still which was fun. I also thought Sagat was really wack after Vanilla.
I played Gouki and Sagat. And I didn’t really give a shit about all the alpha characters, and SOUPEY characters, and 3s characters. But E.Ryu is pretty cool.
Well, you are not alone man. Many players find KOF to be really daunting. Not only do a vast majority of players have difficulty finding one character and dedicating endless hours to that character, but now you have to find three and do the very same. Then you you have to put into practice that there are diffcult combos to learn, team placement concerns and as we mentioned earlier, an entirely different footsie game from most fighters. Nevermind the subtle and sometimes dramatic engine changes from game to game. But part of all these things is what makes KOF great. It caters to a hardcore audience and fans asked for a deep game and we got it.
Right now I’ve only been playing XIII rather seldom due to the fact 3rd Strike has a hold of me tighter than a noose. I have been playing more as of late and intend on building my KOF chops back up again. Believe it or not I love KOF in virtually all of it’s forms, I was even quite partial to XII (with all it’s faults).
I honestly think people just don’t like change. The fact that you cannot get away with dumb shit and will get punished for it in 3S turns off a lot of people.
