I want Megatron but he’s on the cover of dat Madden. What to do?

Pick him anyway so you get his good numbers before the curse takes him, and then back him up with a solid receiving core.

Pick him and wait until he has a 2 td game to trade him high.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

Personally, I’m not gonna pick him at all and try to get one of the top 5 qbs.

ive realized this has become a passing league, taking a QB in the first round doesnt seem as bad as it use to in fantasy football. like a rodgers, brees, or brady produces better numbers on average than most RBs. it doesnt help alot of teams have went to the 2 back system either.

I was ahead of the fad. I took Rodgers last year and Manning before that.

yea i took rodgers last year, he single handley won me my league. i also had frank gore and matte forte, but they both were plagues with injures towards the end of the season. so i had to rely soley on rodgers to carry me.

It has the potential to change the scoring too much IMO. It’s too random every week.

Benson ain’t a prime choice, but I’ve been wanting the Packers to go after a running back for a while. The whole system is built around growing players they draft, but they haven’t had a running back that can scare people in forever(not that Benson will be it or anything). Was scratching my head when they signed Ryan Grant’s deal, honestly. This is the one position I wish the Packers would headhunt more through free agency.

Are you indicating I am a Aints fan ?

Ive highlighted what im confused about !!! There isnt a stat the Bucs werent last in last year when it came to rush defense.

I’m not a fan of PPR, but come on man. PPR doesn’t make it any more random that any other scoring option.

I agree with the random part a little bit, but my biggest beef with it is that it helps the all-around RBs even more than it does WRs, and just hurts the RBs that don’t get too many targets. I won a PPR league last year, and Ray Rice was more of a factor to winning games than both of my WRs + TE were on a usual week. I shouldn’t be winning many games in a PPR ruleset when I was starting guys like 1st half of the season Percy Harvin, Pierre Garcon, and Reggie Wayne.

Well I actually think it gives more value to wrs who don’t catch tds. I had Brandon Marshall last year and there were many games he’d have that were like 9 catches for 67 yards and then be outdone by another wr who happend to catch a 50 yard bomb for a td and that was his only catch.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

Possession wrs need love too.

You’re right. I guess I should clarify what I mean…

What I really meant to say by saying it’s too random I guess is more so certain receivers who are not only possession guys, but they get big chunks of yards and TDs. Gronkowski anyone? Welker? After that I’d have to do some research to know who’s going to command points like that, but there aren’t too many, and that’s what makes any other player kind of random I guess…

Damn, Chad Johnson gets cut…then you got to watch him get cut on Hardknocks. Brutal.

Ravens looking to increase the tempo of the offense by doing more no-huddles. LETS GOOOO!

man…that was brutal to watch. i feel sorry for the poor guy.

 @ arguing over fantasy football scoring. I did my 2 years…never again. Football easily the worst fantasy sport.

Dolphins will be okay at WR, I’m more worried about the secondary, personally.

I’ll say this on the Ochojohnson situation.

I think it’s a completely raw deal that they got rid of him before due process was completed. There’s definitely enough doubt and suspicion over the case to where you can’t immediately incriminate him, especially when he hasn’t had any true precedent of, well any type of violence since he came into the league (last time was maybe in college, and I think it was once) along with being married to a reality show star for a grand total of two months.

However, at the same time, Chad knew the stakes of what was going on in his career and knowing that he still went through with marrying and attaching himself to a possible problem down the road, and by doing that he accepted the possible consequences that would come from that.

I’ll say, after all this, at least he was smart enough to get a prenup in place.

I’m intrigued to know why you feel this way.
