fALCONS 1ST TEAM DOMINATED THE FISH, the our 2nd and 3rd string came in and lost the game. Our nickle cb’s were starting after the starters went out of the game and they are utter ass tier. The Falcons need to be on the phone with teams trying to get better cb’s, because our backup’s are trash and our starters are just OK, but nothing special. I didn’t see ray edwards push the pocket with some pressure on the QB. I know this is preseason and there was no OTA’s due to the lock out, but the defense still looks like the problem. Also matt ryan needs to learn some damn touch on the deep ball. 1st play of the game he over threw julio jones who had beat his man by atleast 5 yards off the ball, but ryan failed to complete the pass.
I don’t care if we win or lose in preseason. I just want to see improvement in our weakness from last year into this year. A lot of the teams got better in the nfc in the off season while we stayed statis quo.
hopefully we will fill our league with people that want to play and instead of quiting after they lose 4 games.
That WR competition is going to be Jason. Moss is already a lock. I like Armstrong and Banks and hope they are 2nd and 3rd. I think they might keep both Stallworth and Gaffney and Hankerson might have the advantage over the other rookie recievers. The RB competition is going to be Freddy Krueger. Torain (barring injury) and Hightower are locks but Royster and Helu looked good. Keiland Williams might be the odd mad out
Banks is good but he hasn’t done much as a receiver. I think Hankerson will be a beast someday, he was one of the guys I said the Skins should take while watching college ball.
Any Steeler fans with an unbiased opinion? What do you think of Mendenhall?
Banks is like the second coming of Brian Mitchell. You know Mitch was an ok running back but he excelled in special teams. If the Skins are smart, you keep him on the team. Even if you have to go with 6 WRs, I say do it. I have a feeling that Mike Sellers might not stay unless they get rid of Paulsen since he is suppose to move to TE. 
Edit : I said the same thing about Hankerson when Miami played Maryland last year. Great minds think alike. :lol:
