The eagles trade backup qbs and get high draft picks. The redskins trade their picks away. The eagles trade with the cards, give away a BACKUP qb, and get a probowl cb and a high draft pick. The redskins trade with the cards, give away a former probowler and a draft pick and RECEIVE a backup. :lol: the eagles sign qb who hasn’t played football in two years and turns him into an MVP candidate. And if the Eagles are the Miami Heat of the NFL then the Cowboys are the Mavs (the 2nd time). I just said it was a little irresponsible to go big on 2 corners like that when you already have a pro bowl one. It will work against the packers but against teams that go heavy run I think the Eagles will get exposed. Also its tough to say superbowl with that team when all it takes is a Vick injury to derail them. Completely healthy They will be good for sure, but I doubt it will stay that way.
Will be fun to see, but with all those past failures its hard to really get behind any Eagles hype.

I can’t wait for the season to get started to see how the team does on both sides of the ball, the run game looks to be more explosive with Forte and Barber.
I beleive the Bears are gonna pick up right where they left off like when they started clicking the 2nd half of the season last year much much sooner this year.
Chicago’s running game was never really that big of an issue to address though; Forte beasted the fuck out of everyone in 2010-11. Chicago’s main issue on offense is a terrible passing game complicated further by an even worse o-line. Like, Cutler is an above average QB with strictly mediocre receivers (aside from top-shelf Greg Olsen who no longer is around), but Cutler couldn’t even plant his front foot because his o-line had holes like a sieve all season long. I’m actually surprised he didn’t get injured during the regular season running for his life every second. I don’t see how they’ve addressed (a.) a terrible o-line, and (b.) a mediocre receiving corps.
With all those signings, yes they would be hype up the ass to win the title.

In defense for Hightower trade, the Skins want to get younger (which is about damn time considering how long Snyder fucked shit up). Hightower is 5 years in, Holliday is 14 years in. All over the board the skins are getting younger, and it only took 12 years for Snyder to realize this.
Eagles are a superbowl favorite this year, but no season is guaranteed. I can still see Greenbay, Steelers, Jets, Colts, Saints, or even the Falcons reaching the title.
Also Kelly and Thomas were bangin in college just as Jackson and Maclin were.
Yea all it is just hype. People seem to love some team to get all the hype then fail in the end.

They solidified the O-Line by getting rid of Olsen, and bringing in Spaeth, who will serve as an extra tackle. In their system the TE is used primarily as an extra blocker, and Olsen was horrible at it, they also drafted a first round tackle, and signed a new center. Tice is an excellent line coach, and the O-line progressively got better as the year went on last season, especially J’Marcus Webb at tackle who they brought in as a project rookie. He’s gonna do well.
Recievers are OK, but they don’t need a superstar to make things work. Olsen also dropped balls while wide open and in the red zone. He was/is grossly overrated. A lot of talent, but lacks work ethic. I like the guy, but he needs to focus more to succeed. I honestly don’t think Roy Williams is the answer, but we’ll see, he’s done well with Martz before, but that was 3 or 4 years ago.
The running game was fine until they got to short yardage situations, where Barber will hopefully help out.
