India as a whole has always been a positive force on human development and civilization, usually one of the biggest contributors, until conquered. After independence the country has achieved a democracy with a growing economy in a region with dozens of ethnicity or minor religions, I’d say the only country in modern times that has come back from worse is Vietnam. You talk about American education like you know its problems and then you make it pretty clear you’ve probably never even heard of the Indus Valley civilization.

All you managed to do was link an article showing the only “Muslim” rule was a synthesis of Muslim and Hindu culture, and the Mughals are the ones that built roads, unified the country and did all the other economic development. The Marathas then conquered them afterwards, and the British came along after that at some point. Obviously India wasn’t in shambles from the Mughals according to that article. And obviously Hinduism was the dominant force (the caste system is something only Hindus have), further reinforced by the Marathas afterwards.

You can look up yourself the empire’s successes and failures, and the transition from Mughal to British rule (protip: the British didn’t originally plan on ruling India) yourself. NY cops are a special breed. I may not be a native New Yorker but I’ve lived within 5 miles of it all of my life. Now that I live in it, I can see why problems arise. But anyway, the police here have always had some sort of complex when it comes to personal responsibility. After the vast corruption of the 60s and 70s that was put to light by Frank Scerpico and the Knapp Commission, the police in this city have been acting like petulant brats. If you don’t know who Scerpico is and why the Knapp Commission is so important to know why no one likes the police in New York City, I suggest you give it a read. Most implants here don’t know this shit but people from here definitely know and haven’t forgotten.
That wasn’t the only time the police acted like asshole bitches, either, when they’ve been shown to be corrupt as fuck. Remember the Crown Heights Riots? The police, rallied by MOTHERFUCKING GIULIANI HIMSELF, refused to calm tensions and didn’t give a fuck if the city went to hell all because a small group of about 300 (if I remember correctly mainly white) cops wanted Dinkins (a black mayor) out of office since he was very outspoken about police corruption. That soon ballooned into 10,000 cops and cop supporters wanting Dinkins out because he himself didn’t trust the cops. It worked. He lost the next election to Rudy Giuliani. And it’s true, Giuliani loosening the leash of the police did make New York way safer and it’s the one you all know and love to visit today. But that’s what outsiders and white people remember. What do black people remember? Just this and this. Rightly so, too.
The pure spite the police forces around the country and their PBAs have been showing in the wake of people criticizing how they work just echoes what’s already happened in New York. My advice? Do NOT let them do it. They will try to silence you so they get away with more shit. Do not do not do not do not do not do not do not let that happen.
