10th palette

anybody trying to find color 10, try holding down some buttons on certain menus or screens and then press other buttons. usually in games like that where if you input a complicated code that uses B A or Start or anything like that, it fucks up where you are on the menu so they have to add something that locks those buttons when you hold certain ones down, which will somewhat narrow it down because they literally borrowed the code from another game, whatever that code may be.

Did anybody try the DBZ classic code?
(notation based on PS)
UP, Triangle, Down, X, L, Square, R, Circle, I’m not sure if Mike would add anything else after it though.

There’s also the KOF 95 code…(long shot)
Hold Start: Up+circle, right+square, left+X, Down+Triangle.

is it the raging demon? anyone try it or any of the “demon commands” from MvC2?

Like Ruby Heart Barrel super?

If you are around your console, try to see if they work
Dan’s -HK LK <- LP LP
Hayato’s - LP HP -> LK HK
Ruby’s and Anakaris’-HK LP down LK HP

dont think so. I’m going to check everything in this thread off right now, trying everything I have suggested and everything anybody else has suggested. just give me a bit.

edit: nothing worked but I only attempted it on the select screen

How about something from Battletoads?

Makes sense since that was his inspiration for wanting to make games in the first place.

MSH had codes on char select to get doom/thanos/anita IIRC (after some other prerequisites).
Console MSHvsSF let you pick alts of charas by holding start or select and then picking them.
MvC1 assist codes?

A Gradius code maybe?

I bet the dev team are getting such a kick out of people hunting for the code…

Sick bastards.

At the press start screen and attract video, any input, even dpad or stick, will cause the game to start so I am thinking it has to be a character select screen or main menu input

when I first booted the game up to try the codes that were posted, I wiggled my analog stick a billion directions for the hell of it and it never started at the “press any button to start” screen.

analog I am not sure but I was talking about fightstick

well, what’s your fight stick’s directional option set to? I know there’s a switch on it that lets you change from analog, d pad, or right stick.

Who even said it was a code…?

Bwhahahaha!!! I think it just might be too late to turn ppl away from it “not” being one. lol

there’s also this

The code that’s stuck in my head for eternity for some reason is “Kool Stuff” from MK3… Up, up, down, down, left, right, A, B, A. I think that’s it. Maybe I’ll give it a whirl when I get home…
