I was always a fan of Cinematech G4tv.com early days and somewhat Portal. Tech Tv had some great shows with like Screensavers and a few other shows i’m drawing a blank with due to me watching Tech TV late in its years. (and the anime block wasn’t half bad. Can’t hate on Lane or Boogiepop Phantom exposure.)
This was the first time I watched G4 and I loved it. X-Play, Cheat, and Ninja Warrior were my go-to shows. I think I liked Cinematech and Icons as well but I don’t remember them that much. I honestly never liked AOTS but I was still in shock when Munn left and then it got canceled altogether. As soon as I saw Cops and Cheaters started airing regularly, i knew this channel was about die. lol fuck Munn and Webb. It’s all about Kristen Holt.
haters gonna hate but i really enjoyed kevin pereira, specially when it was him and kevin rose hosting together.

Oh yeah while were on the topic, Olivia Munn can’t deny the G4 thing because its all she has. Now she just does mediocre nude scenes in shitty movies. Great resume you got going

I enjoyed G4 when I didn’t have a reliable internet connection back in the day. Shows like AOTS and X-Play kept me in the know for games. But as soon as the internet was getting better (at least where I lived at the time which was Northern Ontario), G4 became obscure and progressively awful.
Channel had the same issues a lot of specialized channels have. If the numbers don’t come in you fall back on syndicated TV which kills the point of a dedicated network.
They also had CvS2 on one of their episodes.
on another note, I really did like Judgement Day. A lot of people didn’t seem to like it but I like the synergy of the show. Not TOO serious but also willing to joke around about shit while still being pretty unbiased.
I enjoyed their E3 coverage, before everything went all Hollywood and Geoff Keighley.
Their coverage was pretty well-rounded. (So were the women…)

Imo sarah lane was the hottest girl in TechTV/G4 history. A lot of TechTV shows are rebranded on the internet now Leo laporte does twit (this week in tech) and the one host of the screen savers is still around, chris pirillo does a show to.

Just woke up, looked on this thread, saw this gif and fapped and it is now a good way to start the day. Don’t give a damn about how much of a bitch she may be, I wanna give it to Olivia Munn in a dimly lit red colored room (with red satin shades) while LL’s “Doing it Well” playing in the background.
Anyway what happened with g4 and Tech TV and seeing how it collapsed make me so upset that just going into detail and seeing its carved up, brain-dead corpse lying around the toxic wasteland of the television digital signals of the United States of America is enough to make me go back to the bottle just to erase the horrible memory out of my mind. So much wasted potential it had.
