Gotta love this “expert” review. I love how he says the game easy but complains when you lose a boss battle you have to rewatch the cutscene over again. If the game is so easy then you shouldn’t be losing to bosses in the first place?
That was the norm with X-Play, unfortunately. They hated Final Fantasy and every other JRPG imaginable . . . well, they liked Final Fantasy XII.
Whenever X-Play gave a bad review, the forums got flooded with people who couldn’t type complaining about it. It was both funny and sad.

not really. you hosted a tv show that was the highest or second highest rated on the network? ya…thats gonna really hurt your career. also the denial thing wasnt for like networks…daily show was basically olivia’s second job…obviously people knew where she worked before. i mean more or less for interviews and fan interactions.
Yeah, both of those scenarios sound most likely fine to me. I imagine morgan webb got tired of the weirdos sometimes (who wouldnt. even the best of us fall sometimes), and olivia munn had to rebrand herself again eventually. The internet will forever mark your history, but you can try to pretend that doesnt exist, and be like, “Nah, this was a stepping stone, onward to bigger and better things, no turning back”.
Im sure they both had inexcusable shit that they both did, but all in all, im sure it was no more then your average entertainer. Shit just gets amplified because they are suppose to represent “nerds”, and when they dont fit into the box people want them in, its like fuck them.

When Webb tried to post on the forums back in '03/'04, she was bombarded with questions ranging from ‘Do you really play games?’ to ‘Are you really a girl?’

i still laugh remembering when they talked about how in the early days of wifi…using someone else’s open wifi port would be possibly illegal. also they had big ass devices to find open ports. lol the amount of free hacking they gave on techtv was hilarious.
May 28 just marked the death of both of these separate single channels.
They were simply better off as single channels. But once they merged, shows got axed, shit went downhill, blahblahblah.
Never cared for Morgan Webb (Overhyped). Never was around for Olivia Munn but never got the craze for her. Shame how these channels sucked so much ass when they merged. Guess people didn’t ask for enough Cops and Cheaters.

I can’t believe we left out EVO coverage and Adam Sessler’s commentary during the Finals. He did ok for a guy that was a casual fan watching the tournament. Sad and fucked up how he got fired as I feel a lot of the reviews he actually wrote were good. He even mentioned a while back he hated the joke reviews.
Used to watch Cheaters but we always called it Haters. Icons was a good show but it ran out of ideas.
