MvC2 was never ment to be balanced. Capcom wasnt even going for balanced, they were going for a party game with MvC2.
because hes making examples of games where top tiers are good but dont keep a lot of the cast from competing. mvc2 is a bad example for that
eiji, gai, duolon, ex kyo, clark, duck, jazu… still goes into more. i can easily see where gato hate comes from (HH j.D is one of the most ridiculous moves ever imo), but kula’s much more manageable once you learn the match. people give up way too easily. :arazz:
Regardless of how one may feel about Kula/Gato/Oswald, XI’s not one of the most balanced KOFs, while XII is.
after the patch i feel like im having input lag now, i give up on this game. bought it on -2 day, i really was hoping for this to be amazing but its been a big letdown for me. played a few yellow bars and still felt lag. i actually got a buyer for it, but i do plan to buy the game in the future again when i find it for 15-20. SNK you let me down

I second this agreement as well. I play on wireless and with the mic and I have no issues at all. I got used to it over time. I just work with what I got.
MvC2 has input lag now?
Played 2 games yesterday while waiting for wow servers to get back up. First game was fine at first then started lagging real bad. Turns out our connection is bad and it got crappy during the game. Second match I played was against a yellow, was really good. I got rocked hard and what I can say its a lot better then before.

You people that fail to see this have been playing the game with tunnel vision based off ONLY AMERICAN AND JAPANESE/ASIAN STYLES…seriously…you have been playing it ONE WAY or one particular style…which means you need to broaden your horizons to see JUST how well balanced KOFXI is.
I still play the game competitively IN TOURNAMENTS (international ones)…and one I just came back from EIJI, DUCK, KIM AND DUO LON LEADER GOT FIRST (Ciudad Juarez, Mexico) NO KGO IN SITE…
And I’d put money on Kane9999 vs. anyone in KOFXI on SRK…hands down…$500 on Kane9999 vs. anyone here.

There is a rather significant difference between play styles in not only this KOF game, but in every KOF game released between all continents. In all honesty there is types and they differ almost immensely between continents. Even in KOF XII this is appearing. Most American people I’ve played stuck to Terry, Kyo and Joe or Andy as a variation. A lot of Mexican people I’ve seen play use a weird ass variation of Chin, Andy and whoever else. Same goes for past titles. I don’t what it is exactly, but a lot of Latino players either use pure grapplers, weird combos, or the confusion style of gameplay when playing KOF. At least from my experience.
It’s going to be interesting how KOF XII ends up after six months and the playstyles evolve.

I swear the input lag has made me rage so much that i’m now in the stage of acceptance. Anytiime my character don’t block in time or I get countered because of this lag I just go ‘meh’. No point in getting worked up over this bullshit, so i’m just gonna roll with SF4 untill Tekken 6 comes out. I’ll probably only play with one on my friends because we had a yellow connection pre-patch.
