I saw Delpino on a few days ago. You have to convince guys like Soth, Monkey, SK-40, etc. to get on the bus already. According to a good friend of Winner!, he is considering joining Z too. So, needless to say, we’re slowly embarking upon an SF Xband reunion. What the heck, I suppose I would even welcome KillahKing(NBK) on here too…well, maybe anyway. If they’re a tad hesistant, feel free to remind them that Z is free 
Zbattle has been around for ALONG time, i was up on there about 3 years ago playing constantly, mostly SMK and stuff, coop games are fun too, i beat seiken densetsu 3 with a buddy that way, then i got z’d out and everyone gets on? hehe, ill hafta play again sometime.
The Pad Pro’s still boggles the mind …a pad… . Anyhow must say no dick sucking going on here or anything but i must give props to em. The consistency of their timing, positioning and adaptation to change is really something from years back. They play a real solid game. Course they have been playing ssf snes for probably close to 10 years now so i suppose they SHOULD be good heh. Just fustrating on a pad and even when on the stick last nite (omar took back bastard) i wasn’t able to do much. doped up with eyes 1/2 open on nyquil might have had some of the problem but i would have only won another 2 or 3 matches out of the 20 if that. I just don’t have the pacience for thinking anymore in SF i guess. Just too agressive kills me alot. Really weird learning Super specially when didn’t play back in the day. just did gief glitches all day to people. ST got back into it. really can’t find a character in super i like too much . HF of course blanka cuz he’s fun and cheap but his priority is whack in super . crouch fierce isn’t a trade tool on that. but anyhow still fun for what its worth FREE! always someone on it seems. Who here beats the 2 pad pro’s vint/gaiden more then loses? interested to hear . Anyhow ya’ll are bastards and i’ll see ya’ll online. old man out
It’s not like Vintage/Gaiden is unbeatable. They just have a really really good Dhalsim Incase you dont already know, Sim is VERY VERY VERY powerful in the home version of SSF. But of course Gaiden is just gonna claim “You are a hater” if you say that to him 
That is the only fighter that he gives me REAL hell with. Against all their other fighters, anyone who’s good can fight them on Z.
I just played a guy named ShinGuile…a pretty solid player with Ryu, Sim, Guile, DeeJay and Balrog. Got me the first 4 games, then I busted out with Fei. Jumped up 14-4 then switched to Ken, Ryu. Glad to see more and more players are joining the service.
PS. Vintage has a huge Jem and the Holograms collection of dolls and Underoos!

Yay, finally got this up and workin, just got done getting Pwned with a capital P by Brian… Hopefully someday I will actually pose a challenge
yeah it seems to me that dhalsim is considerably overpowered on the snes version (i mean more so than the arcade :P).
The reason is the size thing I was commenting on before.
Most characters who play keepaway dont benefit much from the smaller character size. Like take sagat. If you jump forward over his tiger from like full screen, he cant do much about it, unlike in the arcade.
But jump forward over a yoga fire from even snes full screen and you get whacked. If you anticipate it early, you can land safely, but you cant hit sim cause you were so far away (unlike arcade… well for guile anyway). So he can push you back out again. You basically have to guess right twice in a row in order to get in on him. And is it me, or are his yoga spears way faster on snes? I can sit there waiting to flash kick it, and I still cant do it in time.
btw the jab dps are also a lot harder to punish on snes than in arcade. All you shoto whores out there take note ;).
Actually I was just bitching to Sabre the other day that playing on Snes was actually making me worse in the arcade… as when I just recently played in the arcade a bit, my timing and spacing were totally off.
But actually, I played a few hours more over the weekend, and got used to it again. So its not too big a deal. Just got to be ready to adapt to whichever version :).
Just remember…SNES Zbattle is just a novelty for fun. If its interfering with your arcade gameplan, then take a break from it for a while.
I play on Z just to do crazy shit, and to be flashy. Winning and losing aren’t a big deal. Somedays I wreck shop, and others I get owned. Its all simple fun tho
On the other hand… I have like a thousand times more comp on zbattle than in the arcade. So… which is the novelty? :lol:

You’ve prolly seen me around ZBattle quite a bit(my handle is Eckostyle). I havent been able to play SF much because my Logitech Wingman has a really sensitive d-pad(which is why Im getting a Saturn to PC adapter soon), and when I try to goin a SSF2 game, I always end up having to download even though I have the rom. Anyone know what gives?
Because you have a different version of the rom. Either Europe, or Japan. Get the US version of the rom.
I have to get cable or dsl connection for this zbattle,im on 56k and its a little laggy when i play and some guys get off of my game

Character Breakdown as far as who uses who (this is the part where you kids are all extremely attentive):

Sagat-DG for the time being

Ryu-both (albeit, on an extended leave of absence)
Sim-Vin
Did you all get that? I hope so. Now, there should be no reason for someone to confuse Sim when playing either Vin/DG/Mana+ as DG.
It’s funny, if someone just came onto Zbattle and was reading these posts on this thread, he/she might get the impression that I was a Sim player. Sim?! Hardly boys & girls. We are BOTH Ryu players. Always were, currently are, and always will be.
As far as the whole stick vs. pad thing…we’ve long realized that we were the exception to the SF rule of thought. Which is perfectly fine with us. After all, ancient prophecies usually only speak of something rare. Ladies & gentlemen, you needn’t look any further than the two “heralded” pad visionaries, known as Dark Gaiden & Vintage
