Zbattle = True Online OG SF?

cmon man, you have the internet as your guide. look in your router manual or get your model number and go to the manufacturers website for the info. cmon, this is basics man, BASICS!!!

that takes too long :(:(:frowning:

i jjust gotta know how to change router config!

Wow

Been playing some really good players at SSF and SF2 Hyper Fighting.

Even some good players at MK2!

Some guy called me “Godlike” when he fought against my Ken. I laughed!

So who all from SRK is officially on Zbattle now??

I havent been on much lately but im still around.

i play once in a while but i have not encountered anyone good
i fuck around the whole time and still win
mad scrubs on there gettin pissed of at being thrown

Maybe if you creat a game asking SPECIFICALLY for SF Experts I am sure you wouldnt encounter so many scrubs.

thats a good idea
ill just ask for no scrubs

What time are u usually on?? Let me know and I will log on and hand you your ass

im lucky if i get on twice a month
i work way to much

Thank You Kris(Aka Maxstah) for handing me my ass in that last round of Ryu Vs Blanka.

Be glad the combo gods didnt grant me a dizzy when I did that ultimate crossup combo on that hairy bitch during the 2nd round! Had u been dizzy, you’d have been so dead!

Until next time!

i dled zbattle and zsnes and a few sfii roms today, got on the net, started a game, tried hosting and got hte “waiting for client” sign forever. then the guy said “let me try to host” and then we had the same prob but in reverse. then he said “wait a sec lemme see what version of zsnes you got” then he said he got on my desktop and searched my DL history lol! got me paranoid but he said i had the right version, couldnt figure out why we couldnt play especially since we were obviously hooked up.

what do you think the prob was?
i dont use a router, i have a verizon dsl hookup so its a floating isp - dunno if this means i cant host, but it shouldnt stop me from joning a game right? i play warcraft and i have a similar prob - i cant host games but i can join em. but in zbattle i cant even join em!

Is your Zbattle located within your ZSNES folder? Hey Jesse, let’s hope Delpino does decide to show up

yep my zsnes and zbattle are in the same folder, and my roms are in a diff folder (just smc files only) - and last nite i downloaded a rom form someone off zbattle so i know we are connected. i could hit start game and the zsnes started up. but thats it - no meeting of the minds to actually get the game going . we both had the same rom (i just DLed it from him lol).

Are you running XP?? If you are, make sure you have disabled your XP firewall under control panel/network-internet connections/network connections…go to the properties of your broadband connection and make sure you UNCHECK your firewall.

You can turn it back on when you are done playing on zbattle.

Also, you may wanna change your video settings in ZSNES to 640 X 40 DR FULL. This will make it alot easier on your eyes when playing…trust me!

Dude, his Sagat earrings OWN ALL!

THROW’EM!!!

Where is that crazy bastid anyways!

Hey,

All of your roms must be placed in your Zsnes folder-as aforementioned in the first post on this thread

ugh! i tried that, then it didnt work, then i read somewhere on page 7 or something that they should be in hteir own folder, so i tried that, didnt work - i’m doing my homework it just aint workin!

ok i put everything and their mother in one folder - C: ZSNES. here is the prob i have -

“Even though Zbattle.net is down at the moment, you still can play NetPlay via your Zsnes. All you need is your IP address. If one of your friends (who also has Zsnes) has AIM, YM or ICQ, just send them your current IP address. Then all your opponent has to do is open their Zsnes and click “Netplay” and enter the IP address you just gave them. Since you gave them your IP address, you will be the one hosting the game/server, so on your Zsnes, just click Netplay and select “Start as Server.” All your opponent has to do on their end is select “Connect to Server”-since in fact they are joining your game/server.”

This is where it messes up. i put my ip addy in, the other guy put his in, we were all ready to hook up direct. he hit host, i hit connect - he found me, i didnt connect. what’s the problem? i can’t connect directly for netplay!

when you tried direct connection, do both of you have “allow udp connection” checkmarked under the internet option in zsnes? it needs to be. plus are you behind a rounter or firewall, or maybe your friend?

Ya gotta love z…
