cool… that’s pretty nice… although i don’t see why people would wanna focus a glove… it’s pretty hard for me to super cancel from the lp one… i can do it off hp glove… freaken ps3 pad is killing my hands… lol…
btw does a cr.lp or cr.lk on block kind off guarantee a super afterwards? assuming they don’t try to jump away… but try to counter… cause i was doing cr.lk on block to ultra an it seemed instant…
Hey guys I have a question for you, do any of you ever use a regular throw when playing as Gief? I have always just gone for 360s when a throw opportunity arises but when I was newer with him and couldnt consistently pull the spd off after a whiffed shoryuken I would just regular throw them, is there any advantages that the regular throw has over his command grabs?
is it a good idea to xup splash on ryu’s wakeup? will it always trade in their favor or is there a certain angle/timing so that splash will beat out the reversal srk?
Splash trades with a perfectly timed uppercut, but crossup knees either beats the dragon punch or whiffs through it, and you’ll definitely take either of those situations.
Whenever they’re falling. You just catch them with that green hand. With that said, I lost this stupid match the other day because I accidentally hit ppp instead pp and lariat came out instead of hand… and I lost. It was the finishing hit too…
I know i can juggle them whenever they are falling because…that is what juggling is. But what i’m having a hard time distinguishing is when I get a hit if they are going to have a safe fall or hit the ground. Because the EX Greenhand misses sometimes on safe fall.
Yeah, I’m not too sure about those either. But I usually assume it’s better to be a little early than too late. I thought it would be viable solution to jumping shotos in the corner where they just back flip constantly. But I’ve been having success just using s.HK when they start doing that.
do xup knees have to be deep in order to combo into shorts/jabs? i seem to be eating a lot of shoryus if i throw it out too early and try for a combo after it lands
You’re doing knees at the opponent’s head to shoulder level and following that up with crouching jab or short, right? Since block stun is less than hit stun, it can be unsafe to follow up a blocked knees with another attack, especially against taller characters.
Well your opponent can still shoryu in between the knees and your spd. Basically, after knees blocked at shoulder level against tall characters, you and your opponent are neutral on frame advantage, so treat it like a neutral frame situation.
knees – Throw
knees – HK (if it gets a close one try tickthrow after) good as ANTIJUMP if they predict a throw^^
knees- Block–wait-crouching techthrow into groundcombo // punish if SRK or such…
knees-Jumpstreight- and do either Ultra or Headbut-Lowroundhouse (if you assume a throwwiff of your enemy)
Will a SPD or siberian suplex beat out their throw after I do an early knee? I’ve been getting thrown some times when I do the knee too early, hit or block. I guess jumping beats throw?
hey i just figure something out… ok … Rufus Ex Messiah kick with the medium kick you have that he got be reversed after the sweep kick… but you can get him before that as he is turning around trying to sweep you, you can super or ultra or spd him out of it … i have tried it like a million times but the timing is kinda strict … what do you think?
ok something else … after the messiah kick once he starts turning around … i just did a s.lk into Atomic suplex sorta just like a tic throw from hd remix, no exactly like it from hd remix, can someone try this out… iam pretty good with timing so… all that hd remix tick spd practice
