It’s not possible in the world version of super. I suppose it’s a mystery why you have to use roundhouse instead of forward. Unless they changed the properties of some of his other moves and inadvertently moved the glitch to another input. meh, I don’t know, lol.

It’s the world ROM.
Most games that have different versions, use the World board as a base, because they have most of the data needed for the other versions.
You can even hack a World board and make it act like a Japanese one, as an example.
I just double checked and it’s indeed the US version, I don’t even have the world rom yet ST still runs.
Unless my mame is fucked up, but I can pull the forward SPD glitch, so it has to be US, right?
Your MAME version is too old, PM me if you need a newer one.
ST runs inaccurately in older MAME versions because it uses the US as the parent ROM, which is wrong.
Some dude on kaillera use to do this all time when i played him at ST a few years back. Whenever i asked him how he did it, he would say its magic. Now i know. time for some payback.

I don’t understand why you’d bump a year-and-a-half-old thread, but O.Gief’s magic throw is confirmed in the World version of ST only. This happens to be the version that GGPO uses.
In appropriate versions of SSF2, do a reversal 360+Forward.
In the World version of SSF2T, do a reversal 360+Roundhouse.
Both have the same effects.
