Yeah that’s the one. I saw it for the first time about a week ago while playing somebody using O.Zangief in ST.

The glitch IIRC is if you block an attack and do a reveral kick SPD (running grab/close double suplex thing) it can grab them from any place on the screen.
I’m not sure if you have to block or get hit. I know it works on block, not sure about attacks or not. My guess is that any reversal timed kick SPD will grab from anywhere.

Correct. Opponent must be on the ground and throwable, though. (So it won’t work if they’re doing a DP or some other invincible move.)

Ok well someone did some sort of glitch with O.Zangief on ST. Maybe it’s not the same thing, but it was definitely a glitch where he would grab me out of nowhere. Other people who played him and saw it said they had never seen it before either.

No it wasn’t a regular 360 at all. He was on the opposite side of the screen and all of a sudden he grabbed me out of no where. He teleported pretty much. Seeing how no one on here has seen it, and surely most of you have been playing ST much longer then I have (3 months) this just leads me to believe he was cheating somehow…it WAS online play so I wouldn’t doubt it.
Edit: He also kept saying “It’s my glitch, my secret.”

no, the glitch is ssf2 only. not ST, not AE, not anything else.

Arcade only. Pull up MAME and bust it. I don’t even think it’s in all the revisions of SSF2 but I could be wrong.
You can use it off of a block, a hit, right when stars is ending, and even on wake up. It only works with medium kick, if I remember right. It is tough timing, but can be learned. I used to piss off people pretty bad back in the days with it.
It is only in SSF2 arcade version.
