I think they are still in losers. Regardless, Snake lost to a Vega and Stupendous to Guilty’s Dhalsim. Both could have won their matches.

I would love for non Gief players to play the Nash mu and see what they think. I bet all of them would quit out of frustration. The mu is a total joke if the Nash knows what he’s doing.

I would be surprised to see Gief win big tournaments. If Snake is struggling vs American talent it would be hard to imagine him or any Gief going up against the top international players. This season seems to be the Nash, Chun, and Ryu show.
I see Gief becoming a secondary to these guys down the road. Especially in the case of Snake who is sponsored and is expected to qualify to Capcom Cup.
I would call it a free match but it’s very mentally draining. I think the main problem is MK sonic scythe. That thing is way too fast.

Nash vs Gief is a really downhill match. All it takes is one mistimed V-skill, or anything to go back to square one.
