Honestly, for convenience’s sake, I’d probably be perfectly willing to upload everything if there was some simple way to do that and they didn’t suck so much. It all kind of sucks. I just get consistently get angrier at YouTube stupidity than I do at SB stupidity.
I won’t even try to point anything good at You Tube, or you may ban me from downloading anything ever again. F*** You Tube then

EVERYONE that dL’s Preppy’s vids should donate. I mean, this man does this community a HUGE favor by uploading these vids. Not to mentoin, going to these places and filming everything.

I wonder if you could cap your non-paying users after a certain download limit during the month, and allow premium users to continue using. Something like that sounds fair, it would also help entice those who feel like your site is worth paying for, but haven’t gotten around to it yet(myself admittedly).

I dont think it would work unless Preppy had some how combined SRK w/ his site keeping the login intact or if Preppy makes every person log in to his MvC2 section.
Option A seems more possible compared to B.

If peeps want to donate $5-10, that’s awesome. But don’t worry about it. I recognize that this is a poor scene, and I’ll do what I can to provide you all cheap entertainment. I’ll just try to negotiate things with my content provider for the next couple months, and then things should straighten out. =P
Gandido and I’ve talked and it looks like we have a pretty good baseline for a plan moving forward. Expect some things to shuffle around, but make sense pretty well. Depending upon how things work out, this new plan could be much better all the way around. I’ll still need to make sure my server doesn’t get destroyed, but I suspect that if we simply torrent DVDs and other humungous updates (or put them on the other server), it should all be OK. Knock on wood.
