Captain America: I’m just an old MvC1 Cap player - abuse his fierce, double-jump, and roll where possible. But there’s not a lot of situations where you get to use the roll. I prefer him with Zangief since you can get in deep with the double-jump and abuse Zangief - and then if you get the Zangief hit, there’s nice meaty combos into Final Justice (Gief-A,Fierce,LP Charging Star,Final Justice or so is pretty damned hurtful of you). It’s not like there’s any great secrets to him - you just have to abuse what you can abuse here, same with any other low tier character. =\

TB: I think only Jetay (raishinken) and Raul (RGA) played Iron Man during the entire tourney. Ian (SHWOKEN!) will whip him out on occasion, but not today. :smile:

I’ve got 3 more tapes of footage from Friday (day before tourney - the 2nd tape has Rattana, JMar, Nolan, Josh, Switchup, me), of which two are pretty much 60 minute “leave the camera running”, and the other one has a little more CvS2 and 3S and will generally be released as individual files once I bother to do that. :smile:

Okay, I’ll be taking down older videos this week to clear up ~600MB to put up a bunch of old Clockw0rk videos.

I captured about 18 tapes (probably 16+ sharable hours/3+GB) of Marvel footage down at Texas Showdown 5. I’m halfway through capturing those tapes right now, but encoding will be a massive project that I won’t finish for some time. But since no TS5 footage whatsoever is going to be shared until the DVD is out & bein’ bought, no worries there. So buy that DVD and expect a major content update in about a month. :tup:

^-- Yeah! He was in my pool - I was a little scared because I know what an honest-to-God-great Ruby player can do. Thankfully he needed blocking practice so I got away with the win, but he was still pretty solid.

I’ve got two MAS at home, but never play there. I just don’t like the feel. But yeah: GG, sir! We’ll play again. :smile:

any of them. they used to work for me, if i saved them, then opened watched from there… but now winamp just opens and sits there… but doesn’t actually play anything.

edit: it’s not just your site, i tried to watch a movie on combovideos, and it did the same thing…

Try WMP instead - what happens when you try it in WMP? (WinAMP just sits on top of the WMFSDK for playback - WMP should probably pipe up the errors more effectively.)

:smile: I put up the Ts5 update here on my site now basically saying that it’ll be a good 3 weeks or so before I’ll have a chance to finish recording it all. Hell, I haven’t even had a chance to clear out old footage so I can put up the Clockw0rk sets yet. :sad:

Just wondering, will the clock vids will be put up after the ts5 vids? was also wondering what would cause a person to get a permanent ban in the goforbroke hub? sorry for the trouble and thanks for hosting these vids.

They’ll be up before them, I just need to get a chance to sit down and figure out how to clear out ~600MB for them.

As far as a permanent ban, the “welcome to the hub” message covers it - you’ll get instantly banned for sharing warez, cracks, ISOs, porn, or ROMs. For sharing commercial products (DVDs, music), you’ll get one warning and then get banned if the stuff isn’t removed.

weird… the folder I had chosen to be shared had none of the above if I remember. All I had was the videos from your site and some others downloaded from people from the hub, which mainly consists of strider videos. Not even sure if I got a warning, just logged in one day and it said I got banned. Thanks for the help, I’ll just check again someday.

^-- I believe I had kicked you ~3 times for sharing Ong Bak or some other DVD rip, and finally got tired of kicking you and so banned you just to spare myself the headache. Yeah, about those NCR MvC2 vids…uh, my buddy who I gave a copy of the vids to is MIA. But I can promise that I will get you those vids, sometime in like the next 4 to 5 years.
