Oh and I do use Party Boy as my handle for tourneys, you guys shouldn’t expect much from me though, I consider myself ok at marvel,. But it will be dope playing you guys though =)
Some of it is NorCal/SoCal stuff. You’ll hear Soo supporters cheering for him, and hear people pulling for Chunk in other matches, etc. Also, it’s just location relative to the cameras- maybe they were just set up by the loud people.
EC attitude definitely had something to do with it, because EC people talk more shit in general and some people like that philosophy.

Definately. Crowd noise punishes the lameness that is direct feed any day. I remember my friend bought the evo 2k4 dvd or 2k3 i can’t remember, but the ones where Daigo parried Justin Wong’s super and did the air parry into combo to finish him. It was an awesome moment when you saw the clip srk posted, but on the dvd it was direct feed and seemed fairly normal and not that exciting. Really lame.

Preppy, what happened with the batch of videos from ECCXI that JasonX sent you that was supposed to have the vid where Yipes uses switchouts to kill the assist after the DS?
I have not received any tapes yet, and I don’t know if I will - JasonX can confirm whether or not he’s sending/has sent anything. Typically any possible news I have will be put up on my page, or I’ll mention it here. 
That being said, I believe I’m getting some more footage from Bernie, which is quite cool. I’ve just had two hard drives fail so I’m limping along right now trying to get things up and running before that arrives and I need to encode it, but I don’t think anybody is dying for new footage right now anyways. The Evo East footage is being hosted by DenjinLee on FileFront, and I don’t know of anything else too terribly exciting happening until Evo.
