eccx? Nobody, to my knowledge. Maybe JetPhi? I don’t recall who was taping the left cabinet - I don’t think it was Commy or JasonX… ? “Dedicated taping” (read: if the camera wasn’t rolling, you waited) didn’t start until the Final 16 anyhow. Phi has had the ~2 eccx Final 16 tapes I taped.

^-- I deliberately didn’t update anything besides ECCXI in June so that people could grab allll that footage (since I put up over 4GB of it). I’ll be putting up new stuff this week. :tup:

ok, I’m working through encoding the latest stuff now. I’ll probably be putting it up tomorrow - I had really hoped to have it up today, but between work on Vista/WMP11 and driving 12 hours to get to a friend’s steel cage match I’ve been short on time. :sad:

Hey Preppy I keep forgetting to ask, what type of camera did you use when you recorded at ecc? I want to get a camera to record footage of us at CF on smaller tourneys and possibly host them.
I have an old Optura 20 that I desperately need to replace. That body style is really nice for the hand, though. Most any midrange camera should do a great job. I’m trying hard not to go for a high-end camera the next time I buy one.
So is miniDV the best bet? And I guess you just transfer everything over with firewire?
It’s your choice, really. I quite like miniDV. Yep, firewire is I think the most practical solution.

I also have my previously unpublished Evo2k5 footage ready to go, but I’d like to know what matches are actually on the DVD so that I don’t step on any toes.
I’m at work right now, but I’ll be finishing compressing the rest of the vids when I’m off. So if you’ll still be online until around 10pmish… I should be done with about 70% of the top 8, then you can have the rest tomorrow. Then later on (probably end of weeken) I’ll have the 3S top 8 completed too. So look forward to about 25 vids. Yes, 25 broken down by games in a match.
