Zachd.com/mvc2 video thread

I am very interested in knowing what people feel the top ~10 match videos and the top 10 combo videos are on my site.

I’d like to make them more visible to people new to Marvel…

of all time prep?

winners finals, grand finals 1 &2 from SB2 are on my list for best matches. also, j360 vs. chunk at sb3

battle for the strongest is a great first look for new guys imo.

I don’t know if you have these on your site because I don’t really use it (I check your youtube channel though), but videos that I remember that are worth being on top are:

Combo:
Storm Video
Magnetro Tutorial
Mike Z Team Z Videos (Juggernaut, Doom)
Also a link to DJ B-13’s Tricks of the Trade Collection
Blackheart Tutorial

Match:
Nec6 Yipes vs Sanford (the match where Sanford picks MSP)
Yipes MSP vs Various @ SB3 (Vortex Demonstration)
Yipes vs Sanford 24e @ SB3 (Team Row demonstration)
Potter vs Duc @ PSM iirc (Spiral tutorial basically)
Yipes vs Sanford vs Justin Wong Round Robin (MSP/Thrax/Matrix Demonstation)

There are a bunch of other top matches but I don’t remember them so I’ll check my hard drive later.

Team San Diego vs EC Alliance Team Tournament match from Evo2k4.

The second match really inspired me of Clockw0rk vs Josh Wigfall all those years ago.

The idea is to have some good suggestions up front for people new to the game, make it a little easier to wade into the dark waters that are my site. =\

The site got a shout out on Capcom-Unity:

Do you play online as ElderDog?

ECCXI winners finals and Grand finals, those matches were crazy.:wow:

The latest Evo East Sanford vs Justin was better imo.

I don’t play online (don’t own consoles), nor on console sticks, nor on arcade square gates (although it looks like that’s about to change).

I play arcade only using P360.

Last sentence in particular

Thanks for listing me in 4/5 of those but I think combos should go to joo.

Maybe Combo/Tutorial/Match?

Tutorials can be very important.

My nominations for combos are:

[*]Joo’s DVD

I forgot to mention I believe that only magnetro should be involved in the tutorial section. yes i am a hater, but the quality/depth and length of his work would help out the most people.:china:

Team scodolfy’s vid was pretty awesome in its day - still stands up today.
Tricks of the trade links would be pretty helpful for starting players.

It’s funny because I’m torn between picking best-played matches and ‘most hype’ matches, because there’s some ugly-looking sloppy matches that got the most hype overall.

I second Battle/Strongest ft10 for a good mix of playstyles, good execution, and hypeness.

I’m a big fan of SB2’s Yipes v Justin v Sanford ft7.

I appreciate Justin v DP to this day to for raw hype.

I started a “best of” page:

Some day I really will figure out how to get Ratings going. =P

team beast! Represent!

I was thinking about putting that on gootube, but rewatched it and just thought that the anger/ugly meter was too high for me to really get behind it. I might check to see if I have a crowdless version, but suspect I don’t. =\

Ranma vs Preppy, only cause I beat you, HAHAHAHA! J/K you should delete it =P

I always liked watching Yipes matches, cause I can only dream of execution like that

I’m going to relabel it, and no one will ever be able to tell. Mwuahaha.

Mixup vs DSP First to 10 way back in the day was some fun shit.

EDIT: FYI, The Legendary JWong Cable Comeback. Play smart.

Doesn’t show the Cable comeback.

There a way to tell which file is downloaded the most? That would help.

I vote,

preppy vs SEE JAY
soo v wong 5on5
the match in my sig.
