I agree about the LQ version being fine. If it’s much of a hassle trying to make it high quality i probably woudlnt’ even bother honestly. It’s solid as is.

I actually didn’t find out about the conclusion to the matchups as well even though I’ve been checking in on this thread and very much looking forward to the matches as well. Guess it’s just selective thread browsing.

Looks great Preppy. If that was the low quality version, then there’s no need to go any higher. Cam off of a TV just isn’t gonna look any better than that. I’d say go higher if it was a direct feed, but this looks great and a higher bitrate aint gonna inprove it.

Unless you wanted to get kinky with it by zooming in and out the PIP, then it’s awesome as is. I dont know how it could be any better.

They’ve been very responsive so far.

My basic rules:

  • If you’re in the match, I don’t have a problem, although it’s usually kind of nice to ask.
  • If it’s somebody else’s footage, it’s not my issue to sort out/care
  • If you’re one of the people that have provided footage around, I’m probably not going to care.
  • If it’s exceptionally interesting and you think it should be shared, why not just ask me to put it up there?
    In a nutshell, my primary disinterest is in people rebuilding my site via YouTube. Do that if I decide to kill my site. Otherwise: why? :smile:

That all being said, we now return you to your regularly scheduled programming. I’ll be putting up some more footage by Wednesday. :tup:

For what it’s randomly worth, I’ll be in Disneyland (Anaheim, CA) Saturday through Monday, and my GF will probably have her Zune 2 (I don’t recall if it’s a 4 or 8GB version) if you want to see one in person. We’re going to Farrell’s in Santa Clarita Saturday night if you like ice cream.

I know that’s a completely random mention, but … I know various people like gadgets, and this is one of the first times she’s been allowed to have it in public. shrug

Yeah, it’s the flash version. The touch (brush?) gestures are kind of weird to get used to used to at first, but then they’re pretty slick. :smile:
