I too have to know what some of those songs from the yipes-sanford matches were.
Any help on the cave stage (the music sounds opera-like, kinda sounds like something you would hear in a major RPG fight)?
In addition to the Sabrewulf song wasn’t Spinal’s music also thrown in there? And O.G. Punchout, that’s was awesome.

Yipes is just too good.
Sanford had some mad crazy combos, especially Storm with Sent’s drone assist. Some of the stuff in the video made me go wtf.

As re the Ruby match, I’m interested in opinions on:
- Should I keep the primary video centered, or should I offset it upleft so that it doesn’t get clipped by the crowd shot?

I believe the latter is generally considered bad visual form, but … I don’t know how annoying the clipping would be to people.
Also, what bitrate?

The higher the bitrate, the bigger the file, of course.
These are sample clips only about 10-20 seconds long, and marked SAMPLE across them. We’re getting there: I’m about 1/4 done. I’m solely interested in opinions here.

I say 2 or 3 vbr, either choice is ok and offset instead of centered.
OK, cool. I’m finishing reencoding the first 8 right now and will hope to get a sample version of the entire thing up for a few certain people to verify (offcentered, 2mbps or VBR) by tomorrow. At this point I’ve got it all sequenced, the sole gating factor right now is how fast my computer can encode. If people are afraid of a huge VBR file, let me know. I’m leaning that way, but I don’t know how much space that will take anyways. Anyways, I’ll get a test final version done, have a couple people verify I haven’t done anything stupid, and then it’s probably ready. Don’t ask about ETA. It’s just getting closer to being done.

Haha, the “full” VBR encode was 1.3GB. 1mbps full is 400MB.
Either I slice it up into sections or we go with 1mbps maximum. 50 minutes of money match is a lot of footage… Good thing I have the GPV…
