I stopped playing because my battle deck, with my holos and whatnot, was left in my pant’s pocket after a duel like 5 years ago. I threw my pants in the dirty clothes and my mom washed it. :wasted:
I still have a couple good cards that I keep in binders, but it’s never been the same since then. :shake:

Pretty much everything is banned or limited. I don’t know what happened to my deck so it doesn’t matter anyway, but looking at the ban lists I wouldn’t have played in any tournaments anyway. The tournaments are BS, I’m pretty sure everyone cheats, and usually they’re held right after a new expansion is released so everyone has 3 of whatever broken card is in that expansion because the dumbasses at Konami don’t update ban lists as quickly as they should. Seriously, nobody thinks ahead of time that 3 Graceful Charities is broken? Or 3 Chaos Emperor Dragons? So fucking stupid.
My deck was pretty much all holos. I kind of made it a point to get the holo versions whenever there was a common, even though the common version was easier to get (like MSTs, Change of Heart etc). Man I liked that deck. Especially the Yata. That little thing is hilarious.
Tournaments are generally stupid. I’ve read so many horror stories of judges that are evidently either retarded or paid off. Or both.
Oh no, I had 3 fissures, and 3 dark holes to make sure no one had high level monsters on the field to whoop my ass and now its banned. -_- Also wth, Raigeki banned. OCG is messed up

that’s around when I quit, but I held onto my cards. game got interesting again around phantom darkness, now its pretty fun again. I just don’t play in any tournies or anything.

Well as you can see I have more equip cards than most decks but they are what’s leftover from my Maha Vailo specific deck. Plus, from looking at the tournament ban list, I had no idea that many of my cards were banned from play.
thats kinda old school, i think pre-banlist. im guessing you stopped playing around the time chaos decks where pwning the shit out of tourneys (invasion of chaos days).
but yeah, the game has a lot of new shit to offer if you ever decide to play again.

You’re right. I stopped playing when I was 15 I believe (Im 20 now) so yeah I kinda stepped out of a time machine on the TCG. Some of the cards on the ban list now I would have never thought of it being on the list ever.
Well my boy got the rest of the cards I need for my lightsworn/zombies infinite deck.
So i should goto a jump very soon.

Konami seems to be attempting to take full control of Yugioh back, which includes Organized Play.
