I’m 27 and probably considered old for an MvC2 player, but I still love it! People who are trying to call you too old to play games are just jealous that they aren’t involved in such a fun hobby. I’ve been playing video games since I was a kid, been hooked on them forever. Luckily my parents were more understanding, as well as my gf’s(current and past :bgrin: ) All in all, shake the haters off. If you are having a blast playing games then forget what they say and continue to have fun, they’ll soon see that and lay off your case.

You aren’t too old to have fun. Since most of the hardcore gamers are in their 20s now it is becoming more acceptable to be this age and still playing games. More companies are marketing their games to young adults as they have the money and buy this instead of their parents having objections or only getting shit for christmas or their birthday. I will buy that shit when it comes out if I want it. But then again if I met a 50 year old wanting to bring my little sister to his house for some games I would have some words with the dude. When I am that age I will either only play games with my kids if I have them or search out for cool adults. Learn from Micheal. :tup:

i got this once from my mom and i’m 20…i just looked at her and was like, woman i’m in college aside from an occasional class, drinking, partying, drinking, maybe studying, and drinking, i’m gonna play some games…as for girls that just are all over me while i’m playing games with my roomates in the house and i’m just like fuck the game i got other shit to do…life is good sometimes

No way. Given the state of competiton and skill between the 2 games, MvC2 is a MUCH harder game to learn and master than CvS2. CvS2 is techincal, but MvC2 is just fucking nuts, and theres so much you need to know. On which game is better, it’s all personal taste. My friends are all Marvel-heads, and cant stand CvS2/3S. I like all 3.

I agree with pretty much everything that has been said in this thread, and I would just like to add something. I feel that if you have a job, you should enjoy that job; which brings me to my next point. The people that make video games have to at least like video games to some degree. I honestly doubt they just make video games for the money because there are plenty of games that have made no money. The creators of these games are most definitely not in their Teens but probobly late twentys and ‘older’. So if ‘older’ people can MAKE games without being criticised, why can’t people play games without being criticised. My father who is currently only 38 is a regular at a local arcade

I often get asked “aren’t you sick of video games yet?” and my answer is always “I will play them until the day I die”.
I’m 28 now, I started playing games back in the early-mid 80’s on my Texas Instruments TI-994A computer, and my cousin’s 2600, and I’ve NEVER looked back. My parent’s tried to get me to stop when I was in my teens, and did some fucked up things, but in the end, they succumbed my stubborness. I guard broke their patience, and eventually had my way when I started buying my own shit, then they had no right to take shit away.
I’ve also been collecting the whole time, never getting rid of anything, (except for the 'rents taking away the TI, damn I loved that thing).
Gaming is not only a hobby, it kept me out of a lot of trouble despite what my parents thought at the time, and proved to be a good way to relax.
Anyone who is still under the outdated impression that games are for kids only is either stupid, or has little knowledge of what gaming has become. I know plenty of adults who still play UNO (which is awesome, btw, the politics involved in a great game of UNO are priceless), to me gaming is no different.
Adults are allowed to have fun too, whoever is thinking adults can’t play games and have fun is living a sad existence.

I’ve been playing games since I was 1 but now I guess I grew out of them. I get extremely bored playing anything 1 player a game has to be solid and multiplayer for me to somewhat enjoy it and that’s why I only play fighting games. T5 for life niggas!
