Yeah Hulk gets more damage if he OTGs by himself in that case. However, since you’re using an assist to OTG, maybe you can follow up with a combo after for 1m+ potential damage.

I remember looking into this a while back, someone may find a way to get around it, but hulk’s hit stun decay is really quick, e.g. relaunches, fewer air hits. The only way that seemed to do a lot of damage was multiple OTG supers/hits for example:
Hulk, Dorm
S, air.M, air.M, air.H, S, Gamma Quake XFC Gamma Quake, DHC Dorm lvl3 Super
There may be something with ending a combo with gamma Tsunami, XFC, AA gamma charge or something like that…maybe, pure speculation though.
Hulk can relaunch just fine with an OTG assist or an assist that pins them after an OTG wave.

Also found a more reliable corner to corner gamma throw combo:
Throw, dash, Shulk OTG, j.:s:, walk forward, c.:h::s:, sj.:s:, OTG wave, crush. Does about 623K. If you end up closer to the wall you can finish with sj.
:h::s: for slightly more damage.

Also I believe it’s better to do add c.H and remove one j.M in the corner combo. And would anyone test if (in the midscreen version) doing c.H, S xx gamma crush instead of S, j.M, j.M, j.H, j.S, dash, tsunami deals more damage?
I’d do it myself but I have serious problems with connecting second gamma charge after dash…
In the corner version you do not need to dash, just time the second gamma charge correctly.
Also that probably won’t really deal that much more damage, you could also test by instead of doing the second gamma charge do jump l,m,s cr.h,s xx gamma crush. That should work.
What you could try though is in the corner with a decent assist, take out one jump m and the do otg gamma wave + assist and try and get like cr.h xx gamma charge l,l or gamma charge h,l xx gamma crush. I can get the gamma charges too hit but they always seem to pop out before the gamma crush but I was doing full aircombo.
I found a nice setup with Hulk
After you do his forward/down-forward Light and then Medium punch, tap forward and up-forward, light, medium, S, Call in Chris landmine assist, jump over the bouncing character, opponent faces to you, landmine hits and then you can combo from the landmine, a nice reset
I know I don’t have to dash. Corner version is much easier but you have to be extremely close to the opponent to make it work.
Yeah, it works. You can see it in one of my videos. Damage is 667k or something like that.
Or just use otg assist to make it even easier?
Gamma Charge hits multiple times and in many combos they tend pop out. Hit stun decay strikes badly after 2 gamma charges in one combo and also damage scaling can be a problem at this point. But it’s worth trying.
I dont know how u guys play hulk but i make sure that i use “safe” s:H: to beat jump in attacks or weird pokes from my opponent and punish with combos. When they are scared to press buttons i go for command grab into this: dash, OTG assist (wesker or sent is what i’ve gotten this to work with), normal jump forward, air :h: air :s: land cr:m: :s: sj sj
sj :H: sj :s: into whatever ender. ie gamma wave xx gamma crush, or the hyper wave thing
I’ve been using a 950,000 damage corner combo in the corner using MODOK’s balloon bomb assist. The great thing is that this should work with any assist that holds the opponent in place (Magneto’s grab) or pops them up (MODOK’s bomb). However, if the assist adds a lot of hits/damage, then the last j.S will not connect.
First, the combo can be started in several ways. cr.:l:, cr.:h:, :s:; j.:h:, j.:s:; or st.:h:. Here’s the most damaging one.
j.:h:, j.:s:, cr.:h:, :s:, j.:h:, :s:, low gamma wave otg, MODOK balloon bomb assist, cr.:h:, :s:, j.:h:, :s:, low gamma wave otg, :qcb::atk::atk:.
This should be the go-to corner combo if you don’t have an otg assist on your team.
One last note. Calling in the assist too early will mess up the combo, resulting in: The low gamma wave will otg them, the assist will hit, then the very last part of the gamma wave will ruin the “pop up” effect of the assist.
You can do dormammus dark hole too, 959k damage and you can add another assist before you do the wave to gamma crush, like Thor’s might strike (?) the anti-air one, it will launch the character in the air for your gamma crush
I tried Dorm’s dark hole, but don’t you have to time it just right so that your cr.:h: :s: connects and launches? Too early and the dark hole counts as last hit, too late and they tech out. I remember having some weird things happen with Dorm’s dark hole assist, but maybe it was just me.
Do you charge your Back button when you land? because that might be your problem, you should be charging in your air-combo, call-in assist release your charge and then press S and then you can charge again for the next assist
Just did a 1,024,600 combo with Hulk 1 meter no X-factor, using Spencer’s armor pierce assist to get a wall-bound, press S, do H, S again, tsunami charge, dormammu’s assist, S, into Gamma crush. Also did a 820k meterless, I think I can get a 850k+ plus meterless combo gonna try some more.
Here’s a nice midscreen combo that does between 680,000 and 720,000. It uses Sent drones assist, and I’m not sure what other assists would work here. The timing seems strict when you first glance at it, but it’s actually not that bad.

It works easiest by cancelling the last L followup into the gamma crush. Tall/big characters will be juggled by all three drones, so cancelling is not required, which nets the most damage.
When I try this combo in training mode, the computer rolls out of it after the j. H, j. S after OTG assist. Just wondering if I’m doing something wrong?
Be sure to jump and press H right before they get otg’ed by the assist. j.H has a bit of startup.
