I don’t know if this was announced in the news thread, but I just noticed that Cody’s theme plays during two stages. Is that to say that we can choose between the stage music and a character’s theme?

I’m really liking the push-back on his CU. At 0:32 in that vid above, unless dudley does a lunge-type super, I doubt he could reach him to set-up a combo with a normal move (or maybe he can?). At 1:42, the crack kick looks like it has a pretty good frames on block. Can anyone who has the game currently expand on how safe that move actually is? At 2:40 as well, he has a weird “axe chop” neutral jump moved that knocked dudley straight down, kind of like Akuma’s palm. Havn’t seen that before, but may have missed it in previous vids.

Sorry if any of this was said earlier, its hard for me to keep up with everything in these boards.

Damn though, Cody is looking sweet.

character themes is an unlockable option in the menu. in arcade mode, it will play the them of the challenger’s character. in versus, its either always whoever p2 is, or it just always plays the theme of the winner. not 100% sure there. when i got to play, it always played my theme when i was on a win streak in versus mode. but i was also player 2.

No doubt, he will be in English. I’ll probably keep Hakan, Cammy, Guile, Rose, Dudley, Abel, Rufus, Viper and Fuerte in English as well.

That kick does look like it will be a nice poke.

Also, in that vid it looks like his slide produced a lot of block stun, don’t think I saw once where hakan was able to do anything after it. Pretty nice.
