Your combo doesn't work, stop making videos

This is why I love BB’s combo count system, blue beat’s are pretty apparent when they happen, and it even tells you what point you went wrong at (but their 18 hit combos aren’t Barely Legal, so it’s a fair trade lol).

As far as triggering the IPS goes, I hope people aren’t stupid enough to post combo vids with that shit in it, a BLIND MAN could notice when the IPS starts, I mean, it’s INCREDIBLY obvious the way the hitsparks and SFX change that it kicked in

Edit: Why do people seem to give a fuck about join dates? that just sounds like some Hipster BS to me, why should a person who just joined not be a credible source of info? why can’t someone who’s been on the forum for years not be a fucking retard? (Not implying you necessarily btw, just an example, I don’t like unnecessary flames <_<)

Boom face,…what is this thread about again?

You can actually “ground bounce” multiple times in one combo as long as you reset them before they hit the ground (for the second time). For example painwheel can do throw (ground bounce) flight j.lp j.lk to reset, then combo into cr.hp (another ground bounce) flight j.rh to reset, do some more stuff, then combo into 236PP which causes another ground bounce but it’s still untechable (red effect).

I don’t know why toddler and django are bitching. I just want some basic “always tech” option in training mode.

Ground bounces are not techable, Painwheel’s crouching HP is a ground bounce, and it can be used multiple times in a combo without the opponent being able to tech. Ms. Fortune’s air QCB+P causes an untechable ground bounce that can be combo’d after. You guys really need to get your facts and terms together before running around telling people their combos don’t work.

You need to start calling specific people out or this thread won’t help much.

Skullgirls’ training mode definitely needs a buff. Stat.

I’m actually not bitching and have no issue with it.
My eye bleed that everyone expect’s it,training mode are nice and fuck why not request it.
But to bitch about it not being in when the whole “Rushed to market” has been mentioned like 4000000000000 times fucking irritates everyone.

I have never once said anything about the game being rushed to market. My comments are completely relevant to the topic: Bad combos videos come from people who don’t understand how the combo system works and the place where most people learn how it works is in training mode.

Who the hell develops new combos live…? Seriously…

I don’t get this excuse when the release date was “Early 2012” then “February 2012” then “Lol IDK Gaiz” then finally April 11-12

Doesn’t look rushed to me…

LOL ALMOST EPIC THREAD TITLE

SHOULD HAVE BEEN “YOUR COMBO SUCKS STOP MAKING VIDEOS”

I hate how every game is “rushed” as well… Soulcalibur was rushed, Marvel was rushed, SFxT was rushed, Street Fighter 4 was rushed…

It’s just people expecting perfection out of the gate – which doesn’t happen.

the lack of Training Mode options really hit me last night, was getting more familiar with Double, learning combos and whatnot in Training, hop on to play my buddy and lo and behold, the second hit of Double’s s.MK whiffs on crouchers if you’re not right up their asshole close… f*cked all my shit up and made doing the combo so much harder because I’d become acclimated to pressing c.LK > s.MK > s.MK > […] and safe to say I lost out on a lot of potential damage opportunities sadface

I’d like to think Marvel 3 and SFxT were rushed, because those games have no other excuses otherwise… Skullgirls gets away with being slightly bare-bones because it’s $15, I sure as hell don’t want to pay $60 for a game with like… NOTHING to do in it after a week (not to mention all the glitches/infinites found later on in those games).

Shit, thanks for bringing that up before I mastered my bnb.

Better start using cr.mp instead.

What I want to know is if there’s a limit to the number of times you can stagger your opponent in one combo. I’m working on something, but I don’t want to continuous attempt it if the mechanic doesn’t even work.

Maybe I’m just easy going, but I don’t have a ton of problems with SFxT… it has glitches, but every game does… Meh…

Staggers can be shaken out of. They might not be as reliable in a combo as you’d think.

Didn’t know that. Thanks. Does shaking lessen the time that they’re stunned for or does it nullify the stun completely?
