About the bnb above. I can’t seem to get the second repitition to work without the enemy fallin out. Should it be sped up?

This seems to be the only bnb I can ALMOST accomplish because I can’t seem to understand how most of you are canceling out of :l: mystic sword with a jump into the :m::m::h: impact loop. .

It seems regardless of my speed of put he just stands there or does ground :m: :m:. I finally get that I need to tk the graces.
Even with the graces, inputting them close to an enemy seems to only make one activate when I place multiple by an enemy.

Any advice?

Sorry I should try and make a video of it but my capture card is sucking right now. There’s one tricky bit of timing where you have to reduce the delay between the final Air :m: and Air :h:. It’s not going to be an instant chain but the delay should only be about half as long as what you would expect it to be.

It took me a few repetitions before I finally figured it out.

It might be a problem if you’re not used to this. It’s not that you jump - cancel. It’s more of a jump - link. Best advice I can give you - start doing the combo to the point of mystic sword, then don’t press any attack buttons, just focus on different jump timings. In a few tries you’ll find the proper timing for sure. Don’t think of how to make j.m connect, only the jump to start.

They are all easy to do and deal pretty high damage. Some of them are assisted with Wesker’s otg for some extra extension, but they can be adapted by either using the graces of hoggoth or changing the closing a little bit

i get him to jump now finally but just and m before disconnect, I’m gonna slowly practice that skill, but go basic first.

strange was an interesting character to pick first, but i like him too much overall. All thats left is for me to establish solid ways to get in.

I don’t know… I kept trying to hit confirm with :d:+:l:s, but sometimes you’re just at a distance where 3 won’t hit, 2 will hit and 1 will whiff or something like that and it’s hard to judge the range since it’s further than just his hand.

Instead I’ve been in the lab for a bit and although I’m super impressed by the combos in this thread… I can’t do any of them lol. My execution just can’t handle all of that stuff and some of it is pretty team specific so I decided to work on something that solo strange can just do. Pretty basic stuff and easy to do.

Been starting combos :d:+:l:, :d:+:m:, :f:+:h:, straight to the point and pretty much cuts out any chance of making a mistake so that none of your moves accidentally push the opponent away. From here if it’s blocked, I have time to :qcb:+:h: so I don’t get smacked in the face with a counter combo and since that recovers quickly I can hit an appropriate assist and get back in there.

If the opponent gets crumpled, I have time to :qcb:+:l:/:m: (I like yellow spheres mid screen to setup for purple ray of doom… don’t really like red spheres at all, unless someone finds a good reason for them outside of combos) and then:

:qcf:+:h:, immediately followed by j.:m:,:m:,:h:,:f:+:h: (land) j.:m:,:m:,:h:,:f:+:h: (land) j.:m:,:h:,:f:+:h: (wait for opponent to fall to shoulder level) s.:m:,:h:, :f:+:h: (wait a little bit) :s:, j.:m:,:m:,:h:,:f:+:h: (delayed until about to hit the ground) j.:s: (land) :qcf:+:m: and then pick either wake-up

(a) :rdp:+:l:, :d:+:l:,:d:+:m:,:f:+:h:
(b) :rdp:+:h:, j.:h: (land behind the opponent because m daggers push the opponent under you) :f:+:h:.

About 400K-ish damage, no meter, no assist and relatively easy to do and sets up for teleport mix-up. I’m trying to figure out how to incorporate my assists, but I have Rocket and Sentinel on my team and using them more to setup more mix-ups than to extend my combos. This is probably not great stuff for some of the better players, but I thought I’d post it since I got inspired by some of the cool stuff I’ve been seeing on these boards and this might give someone else better some inspiration to make this better.

I worked on your combo, and brought upon an assistless variation:

:l: :m: :h: :f::h: ( :l: Grace ) x 2, Dash :f::h: :s: Jump Canceled :h: Teleport :f::h:, (Land) :f::h: :s: Jump Canceled :h: Grace, Eye of A, :f::h: + fly and keep holding :u:, :f::h: + Unfly(before landing) :f::h: (Land) :f::h: :s: J. :m: :m: :h: :f: :h: :s:, :m: Daggars of Denack to Spell of Winanti. (690k with mashing)

The combo can work if you have 2 or 3 graces preset at first, as long as they are close to the corner and not in wackky order so that they hit on time. Should you have 2 or 3 graces preset, you can alter the first :f::h: and cancel it into fly forward -> :h::f::h::s: and to the rest of the combo.

Note that you must not dash or move forward when doing the first two graces otherwise your :h: Grace may hit the short lengthed opponent towards you rather than into the corner (and thus into Eye of Agomato).

ok, im trying to play this guy but I cant pull of a single combo so far… now, wtf does impact palm do anyways? why does it sometimes not put them in a crumble state?
