Can I convert mystic sword into jump loops universally or is there some prerequisite? Ill try the FoF loop. Gonna take me a lot of work right now im jist working on my flow chart neutral of eye of agomatto then f+h and doom missiles.
Any suggestions on how to convert off of a moving eye of agomstto or soneone airborne hit by missiles?
Need to be close enough, that all. <div><br></div><div>The conversion probably includes some kind of Teleport C int IP </div>
In the situation where I call disruptor and M teleport, then the crossup beam hits, what do you recommend for the easiest confirm? I’ve been doing, post teleport, palm xx L mystic sword, jump loop. But I feel like my consistency would skyrocket if I could eliminate the mystic sword. Is that at all possible?
While I did find you can technically just go right into jump loop off the beam, you have to just go for it w/o confirming that the beam actually hit. And obv that’s no good; cause if they manage to block the beam, whiffing a jM probably isn’t ideal lol
I’m guessing another option is going into launch then doing that slow air combo that ends with palm, after which we can jump loop. But I’ve never been able to get that slow air combo into jump loop down, so IF that’s the answer to the main question, any pointers on it?
Lastly, I assumed the confirm off a neutral landed jam session would just be jump loop straight away, but it oddly whiffs most of the time. (This is again usually coming from a teleport) Is there a better confirm off jam session, teleport?
Thanks all! For context, the team here is Dante Strange Mag (shocking, right?)
The easiest confirm is to just palm and launcher, one sequence of the delayed hit palm-loop, and one jump-loop after it, into s.H~Palm~Flame~Palm~LOOP. The last combo in this video starts from a disruptor with teleport H, but it works just the same with the M version.
There is another thing I do, but only when the disruptor hits a jumping opponent or one of the easy-to-loop characters, like Wesker, Vergil or Wolverine. If you are ballsy or is playing casuals and want to style, you can confirm the disruptor into Palm~Flame~Palm and mid-screen loop. It’s cool to do, looks flashy, and it’s optimal. However, it is by far the hardest combo he has. Since you have jam-session, I’d say just do the first option and extend the flame-loop that follows and you’ll kill anyone. Heres the vid, its the last combo.
I stumbled upon this vid yesterday, its fantastic! I just wasn’t sure if the M vs H tele changed anything. I guess ill just practice that delayed air combo. Now here’s the thing… I really didn’t want to bother you guys with this, but I can’t figure it out!: late as hell to the party, yesterday I attempted my first flame loop. The setup, the act of S, sju palm xx flame into fast palm seems pretty easy… but in an hour, I never got a 2nd palm once!
Like, sj up, immediate palm xx immediate flame, mash like hell palm and it never connects! (That was when desperate, wasn’t always mashing it lol). Is there some spacing or timing thing I’m missing here? As I did it, it appears impossble. But obviously not only is it possible, it looks kinda easy in footage. Is this a common initial flame floop error?
yes, there is spacing involved. It is not literally an immediate palm.
There are two ways to space the loop, one vertical and one horizontal. The vertical is to make the enemy get hit by the upper part of the palm’s hitbox, which will leave you right below him. It is the one I feel comfortable with. The horizontal consists in making the opponent get hit by the far end of the palm’s hitbox, with Strange’s full length in the move.
Both of these can be achieved by getting them to the perfect loop height. To do this, you can use the s.H (seeing how bad the move is for anything else, I’m inclined to say the only function this normal has in his toolset is to get optimal loop height anyways) to space it properly before the first palm and the first flame in the ground.
Take the disruptor combo for an example. After the palm loops, when you get to the corner, you see that I did straight palm into the loop. Instead of doing that, you can do s.H~Palm to get the perfect spacing. I only did the palm right there because by now we’ve doing this loop for a year, so I’ve got used to it by muscle memory. But even today I use it to ensure that things won’t drop.
…
Might be on to something here.
Trying to figure out some new raw tag combos. I figured out that if you do a super jump palm loop, but do it early enough so that you land on the other side of your opponent, you can hard tag from there and do stuff.
My Firebrand raw tag into Strange combo. I think everyone probably already know this, but its pretty fun to make a video. Sorry for the extremely bad quality and shit execution
wow that link is real hard, probably worked because your dummy was modok
Yeah, I couldn’t get it on other characters neither. I just random selected the dummy and it happened to work
Tenboss is back
How hard is the Nova to strange hard tag? On all characters? Special starter?
Ok What’s the trick to getting the jump height of flame loop.

after landing the combo above says jump IP x cancel into FoF then IP, S.
I found a way to put out 3 graces on screen without an assist using EoA. Not sure if this was known or not, but if it is then ignore me. I kept it short because i’m not sure if this is worth it, or if there is potential, but it’s possible to build 2 meters from this and stay meter positive also. sorry for crap quality http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTSteqHzaGA
