  3. Hayao (The only other player that can compare to Kuroda in terms of being smart and mind games. You can just see from how much control he has even when playing as Hugo, and he doesnt even try hard to win.)

  1. Deshiken - I mention this guy first because he’s the only top-tier Japanese player I’ve played besides Goemon. The guy is incredible with pressuring and is always smart with it. He can also do the sickest comebacks…

I definitely couldn’t say who’s the best just from watching a lot of youtube videos and I couldn’t limit it to top 3. Even my most educated guess is probably inaccurate. In my opinion the only real way to accurately judge a player’s skill is to play him yourself at the arcade over a long period of time. But based on what I’ve seen and aside from Kuroda I think these are the best players (in no particular order):
