Oh it’s that combo. I thought it was something else. Thanks for clearing it up.
Yeah, but that list is much easier to read. Also, by reset dash under, do you mean after a focus attack reset or a ex hayate reset?
Against the characters that can get hit by Fukiage after a Focus crumple, you can just do the one dash, then do a delayed LP Fukiage. If you forgte to dash (or it doesn’t come out) after the crumple, just do LP Fukiage as soon as you recover and you’ll hit.
After EX Hayate in the corner.
Lp Hayate works on more characters than that, I tested a while back, my results are on the first page.
So you got it to work Ibuki? I could never seem to get it to connect on her or Chun.
woops, except chunli and ibuki (check the list and you can see that there isnt ibuki in it )
Yeah, I assumed either the list or her not being listed with Chun was a typo. It would be nice to be able to hit it on Ibuki and get that extra damage. I hate having to chase her down. Oh well.
about back-dash cancel, can someone please post a video on youtube showing how it is done?
I am not quite sure how it works…
I’ve been trying to practice some of the followups after AA Fukiage FADC Ultra 2, and for whatever reason the only two moves that seem to follow after the U2 in that instance are EX Axe Kick and EX Hayate. Can you not do MK Axe Kick land EX Hayate in that instance because of juggle restrictions or something?
Any block string ending in s.lk into Hayate feint, then go straight for Kara grab.
delete
FAlvl2 -> dash -> MP oroshi -> st.MP -> EX hayate -> LP fukiage -> EX tsurugi
376dmg, 638 stun
st.MP *4 (maybe 5. Didnt success) against Abel, even after a karakusa.
mp oroshi st.mp is hard timing
Its a 1f link like practically everything else. Guess we should just be happy 1f links aren’t hard in sf4~
I didn’t see it any where else, but you can :lk: tsurugi > ex Fukiage > ex tsurugi in the corner its 498 stun and 350ish damage plus the timing isnt too hard, if you do instant tsurugi, (:uf::hcb:) you get both hits if you got your timing on sjc fukiage.
Do different punch strengths affect how fast a hayate cancel is? Aka is lp hayate cancel the fastest?
from what i observe it does seem to matter, but that’s just me eyeballing it, to me they look different
No, the strength of hayate apparently does not matter in regard to the speed of the quickest possible hayate cancel.
there should be no difference
