I used to like rap when they actually told a story and was truthful about where they were from, what they did and how they lived.
I remember when Rap was more than this…much better and more raw. The production values weren’t nearly as high but the actual rap was much higher than this. That was such a long time ago and how rap has fallen. What is actually more sad is how the dumber things have gotten the more popular it has gotten.
The late 80’s to mid 90’s was the golden era of rap. Also rock was much better then too. What is happening to music in general now…
