Real knights keep their tech to themselves, except me, heres my super Arthur combo that I invented and that no one in the entire of the universe five times over came up with.<br><br>cM, sH, Forward-H,(<i>on connecting with forward H, use the firebrand Y assist</i>) S, aH, land and then jump forward, aH, Scythe Toss, run under opponent, jump forward, aM, aH, aS, Fire Bottle Toss, Kings Armor, Scythe Toss, <b>Miss first hit and connect 2nd hit </b>of Hellbound Slash, Fire Bottle Toss, High jump forward and then use aS to fast fall, as you start to fast fall, use Scythe Toss, Thors 1st hit of B assist but miss the second hit, Axe Toss, Scythe Toss, Axe Toss, Goddess Bracelet. <b><i>Roughly 900,000 damage<br><br></i></b>This is probably not the best way to explain<i> </i>this<i> combo, </i>even though the one I posted is built around team, you can go for the double fire bottle and scythe toss without an assist, and that it only works mid screen.<br>

You can edit you’re own posts you gotta click the little gear in the top right of your post. It’s pretty hidden though I don’t blame you if you missed it.<div><br></div><div>In an attempt to steer this back to Arthur discussion I had a cool moment against a friend of mine. It was my Arthur vs. his Vergil, both of us at low health. I superjump and he teleports and I get auto incorrected an air fire bottle, and he activates swords. I land into the swords and get hit since I was in recovery but he was in the perfect position to get hit by the fire bottle so he got staggered and then Arthur killed Vergil. Sometimes amazing things do happen :’) (sometimes).</div>

Nice. I got beat up by kinderparty in an arthur match at last year’s ufgt. I’ll be there again this year, although I might not be running arthur in the tournament unless I get decent with doom by then. <br>
is super jumping and using arthurs S. and canceling to daggers low to the ground a viable approuch and way of movement?
If and when I want to approach above the opponent with Arthur, I prefer super jump into jS then canceling into Crossbow. I don’t think I’ve used the same trick with daggers, but it seems reasonable.
yea especially if theyre blocking an assist like bolts or tasks vertical arrows, also i believe his air daggers are +21 on block
Yes. Super jump to j.S Dagger to instant overhead or low is a good approach but it requires fairly specific horizontal spacing. Also I reccomend learning the appropriate height to use all of his projectiles with sj.S.
How do you guys like to play Arthur on anchor? Do you do as best as you can in Silver Armor, then upgrade to Gold Armor and X-Factor? Or do you just X-Factor in Silver and save your meters for Goddess Bracelet? I think I have a bad habit of popping Kings Armor and XFactor as soon as Arthur’s the only one alive.
i pretty much have the height for all his super jump S to projectiles,
also i noticed, when you super jump, you can use your double jump to back or forawrd or just neutral,
yea thats all obvious haha, but his weapons seem more useful with the momentum of the double jump, like you go forward you can throw the fire bottle or scythe, or arrows, they seemed to be thrown at a nice spacing, and if you neutral jump his arrows work amazing
and if you go back, his axe, and fire bottle are thrown well too.
this helps if youre rushing down with arthur with daggers ,
also wat are some fuzzy guard setups with arthur, im pretty sure he has some with his double jump
I don’t use gold armor unless my opponent’s xfactor has been used and I’m sure I can chip them to death before it ends. Don’t forget about his level 3 either as it is one of the best in the game. Use it and cancel it with xfactor to destroy assists on reaction. It’s also nice to keep a meter on deck to make his heavenly slash safe on block with goddess bracelet.
I point Arthur to power him up, then throw a scythe/crossbow to tag safely. Those gold daggers go HAM sandwich on assist. Dominates horizontal spacing and may be more durable than doom’s beam. If your opponent pops xfactor early, and you hold him off, you’re pretty much guaranteed a victory.
Question: is there any use whatsoever for his shield special? He recovers so slow from it 
ive been trying to use standing m when he’s left in frame advantage , like after goddes bracelet or an assist, since youre in frame advange, also maybe if they dont pushblock you when you jump s to dagger,
i think its 12 to 13 frames of startup.

Yes it is, its the equivalent of V.Joe dashing in with Voomerangs. A little slow but effective for closing space.

Arthur is fully capable of doing self-fuzzies. Dagger cancelling his j.S puts the opponent in so much block stun that you can rise up with a j.M to fuzzy as soon as you land. Ive been meaning to upload a video but in due time.

Yes, his shield counter (623L) will beat out a lot of moves clean (ex. Charging Star) and the stagger gives you plenty of time to link into a combo.
Q. Can u punish hypers with it?
His standing M shield can punish hypers (since it auto-BLOCKS) but only if theyre in range for him to hit them. Ex. Ive punished X-23’s Weapon X by smacking her with a s.M (which ate the one hit of her attack) once she got close to me.
The special version however (623L) DOES NOT PUNISH HYPERS. YOU WILL DIE IF YOU TRY.
