Dhalsim has very few useful combos. Just practice the hell out of his bread n butter combo and you should be fine.

Its not working because your IAT might be too high off the floor. If you get off even a little too high, the flame wont connect.
The training mode is correct. It lets you hit the first hit and if its a real combo, cpu cant block it. The ppl online dont have computer’s execution. Most of them dont know to play against Sim. They most likely trying to attack/move after you do the b-mk. Thats why you hit them even if your yoga flame did not combo correctly.
I just want to add, that more so than any other character in sf4, I’ve found that watching matches with pro sims tends to up my sim game tremendously. Iyo, the Japanese national champ, essentially shows you how to deal with every character in the game if you watch him at nationals.

only thing i have by now is a blockstring with db+LK, db+LP, b+MK to get out of range for a safe teleport. akumas teleport seems to have some invincible frames, sims doesnt.

do you use LK or MK for the slide or is that situational? i often see slide canceled (linked?) into super - is there something like a rule which slide to use?
I’m not sure (I always get confused on this myself). I know that the slide does come out though.
The key for performing this one, is to hit the LK in the middle of your super motion.
So, you do a QCF forward, and when its at the down forward part of your QCF, you hit LK. You immediately (the same way you normally do a super or ultra), do another QCF, and hit jab at the end of it. Voila!

I’m on xbox live and I do have a mic, be great if someone else also had a mic, so they could give me play by play corrections. Looking to main him, he seems stable.
I was messing around in training mode, and it appeared that if you do Ultra after j.b+hp,b+mk,flame and before they hit the ground they can’t quickstand. I tried it on a friend of mine and it still appeared to be the case. Is this just a change of timing for quickstand thing, or is it really untechable?
I don’t know if anybody posted this already but I just discovered that if you hit an in-air opponent with Mummy (down+HP in air) it juggles for super and ultra
It`s really easy to link the super (makes me think it’s a cancel), but the timing for ultra is tricky.
I couldn’t juggle with any other attacks (not even EX upflame wich is very fast)
