I use C.HK for pop up sweep combo
you really should learn the c.lk -> c.lp -> s.hk BnB… The damage potential is way better, it’s much harder to detect and doesn’t leave you wide open for ages. It takes practice, but hell, it’s worth it.

why do we add the second jab into our combos? there’s almost a 100 damage difference in a combo without the second jab. ex: c.lp -> c.lp -> s.HK xx anything does less damage then c.lp -> s,HK xx anything i would imagine the same applies to c.lk -> c.lp -> s.HK xx vs c.lk -> s.HK xx. so whats the point of the second jab???
If you can confirm the lp or lk hit fast enough to link straight to the s. HK, go for it. The 2nd LP is a hit confirm.

I do one jab most of the time cause i start with f.mk then jab then roundhouse. f.mk is slow and most of the time i only waste movements off of ovehead.

Who else do you guys use if you have an alternate character?
I was messing around with Cammy recently, thinking about putting time in with her or Cody or relearn Guile. I use to play Rog in SF4 but got bored with him and messed around with Geif, Guile and Bison.
Hope Liquid does well at Guard Crush.

Lesson Learned
I usually switch back to my main from Vanilla, which was Chun and my secondary Sakura. I’m debating which other character to begin learning, and so far, i have a great lean towards DeeJay, though when i tend to just mess around, i pick up Ibuki and have a great time.
Ah yes, can’t get any more British than those. A fine British name for a fine British drink, perfect choices for Dudley (though I’ve never tried them myself, not a beer drinker :P).

I use Cody and Akuma. Akuma Teleport Cancel into U2 is too sexy!. I used to main Ryu but went through so many characters because i didn’t like anyone in the roster. I actually dropped Vanilla but cameback when they announced super and i’ve been maining Dudley ever since. (He was my main in 3rd Strike) Cody and AKuma just kinda joined my roster cause i liked dicking around with their combos and then i just ended up really like them so they are my alternates. Im also working on Ibuki as she’s alot of fun, but after learning links for so long, Target Combos seem foriegn to me. I messed around with everyone whose not a charge character in SSFIV. I also mess around with Sakura and Gouken. BUt i wanted to end up maining nothing but characters who were in 3rd strike, but makoto is really really really bad. and Cody is too much fun. But at least Dudley Ibuki andAKuma were in 3rd strike.
Lord knows ill be playing Yun and Yang when they get released. All the Street Fighter III love is too pro!
