I’m disappointed that Nene didn’t win, but I can respect Aja getting in. I’ll still give her a try. Hopefully, they’ll be able to get to Nene and the others sometime later. Until then, I’ll stick with Hina and probably Kotaro when AoC comes out.

This game looks like it might have potential, but the voter-backed character selection is going to kill my interest in this game for me like it did for Skullgirls. I enjoy strange, bizarre characters (Anakaris, Faust, Shuma in MSH) and if anything is brutal on that archetype, it’s a vote-based selection process. From what I read, looks like the least interesting, innovative character would up winning. (I consider “bitch with a sword” in no way interesting or innovative, imo)

I’m super excited for Asia Steaks! Sounds like she’s going to be the mid range dominant/giant normals character like Parasoul or Dante. Plus she looks real stylish.

I really wanted Qadl or Nene but I’m just glad we got another character. I’m actually surprised Aja won considering that her fighting style description was very vague, I would have thought the other characters would have pulled through over her. Oh well, I’m very excited to see the 3 new characters and test all of them out.

you should stick around Louis. don’t you wanna rebuild, get stronger, come back and prove yourself? taking criticism is the catalyst for self improvement so you can come back and try to beat the guys you hate. especially if you like the game.

Well, Kotaro and Azure were the two characters included in the initial 68,000 goal. Kotaro looks like some sort of opera ninja and Azure has that slick assassin-hoodie

Azure was described as straightforward like kou and crow. comparing them to the other three shotos, gives kind of a picture on what hes gonna be like.

Maybe we will see the next three characters in Yatagarasu 3: Everything is Titans

Yeah but he was described to have tools to continually attack, I believe it was something similar to Strider’s floating orbs. I think he will be more interesting than Kou and Crow.

Well it says that Azure would be able to “constantly attack”, so I guess he would apply a lot if pressure? I think by him also having “standard fighting style” they may mean that he will be a simple to play character or he will be based on preexisting archetype from other games.

As for his “charge type flying weapon”, that sounds interesting. Maybe something like Striders charge move

I thought aja was the most generic, she reminds of whip and foxy from kof but I think gameplay wise the other characters were more interesting IMO

I was pulling for Qadl. I liked her design. Don’t care for Aja

Voted for Qadl, because i think this game need some sort of zoner to broad the playstyles

No problem with Aja though, i like my Sword Bitches, and Rapiers are cool

I would also like to see different win pose animations after each round instead of them just standing there neutral. While they’re at it, they should add in Post Hits after the round ends. Those were fun to do in 3S. :slight_smile:

my first choice was nene but I ended up voting for Chiriakuta because everything about him just sounded crazy,lol.

I’m hopeful the developers will still make the other 3 characters on their own time.
