HOLY SHIT…so…I just used the follow ball as a part of the Chapter 4 to try to get to where I need to be. I forgot that the follow ball doesn’t give any fucks about any of the enemies you run past. That’s all cool and all as I attempted to just MGS my way through an enemy alien base that’s there…but the follow ball took me through this tunnel cave area that was full of 40+ lvled crab monsters and I’m at Lvl 16 right now. I just got done running through half of Noctilum with a god damn level 47 crab monster ON MY ASS THE ENTIRE WAY. Mother fucker would NOT give up. He managed to pick off 3 of my team mates and almost got me before I finally shook him. I need my mech…I need my mech so bad lol…

I’m not sure but I think the follow ball is trying to kill me…the %chance I’ve had run ins with Tyrants has went up since I started using it.
Whoever thought these gathering quests were a gd idea is a moron. I’m loving the game but when I’m asked to find an item and they don’t even give u the smallest clue to where they r in a world this big it’s just annoying
So this is open world?
How does it compare to some shit like say skyrim?
Take the exploration from Eldar Scrolls games, remove the shitty combat, remove the game breaking bugs and make it so half the main story isn’t spent in samey dungeons and there’s your open world.
If you can see it, you can get to it, and if that area is full of high level enemies that can fuck you up in one hit, you can still try stealthing round them.
That said, you don’t get to assign stats outside of equipment augmentations and skill bonuses, doesn’t bother me but I know you play DnD so dunno if that matters to you.
I only got about half an hour in last night before I crashed.
I’m disappointed they went with the create a character silent protagonist route. The whole stopping to ask me to nod my head or stuff like that during conversations is really jarring and takes me out of it.
Game is beautiful, fun, and I can’t wait to explore more.
My boy was telling me he took up a side mission and he said he was scared as shit because the area where he had to find whatever it was, was filled with high level monsters that attack on sight hahaha
Is it the one to repair the chopper in Noctilum? I think the mission is called A Proper Chopper, and you have to go through a forrest filled with giant spider fucks. Fuck those things. I couldn’t finish the mission yet because they kept eating me.
Some of this music is… Anything with vocals and all the UGH and woohoos are a little grating.
The theme in NLA with all the woohoos reminds me of the extreme ghostbusters opening.
Yeah I just finished A Proper Chopper last night. Took me 4 hours to find that one EA motor thing. While I was in that cave with all the spiders, a massive spider dropped down. It was a lvl 79 tyrant. Scared the shit out of me almost to the point where I didn’t want to go back >_>.

The battle theme is cool, but i actually felt it would’ve sufficed without vocals. Like just a rock instrumental would’ve been fine. But again whenever I got into it’d be over before the vocals even start
