I’m still trying to wrap my head around the multiplayer, but I believe we can team up and do squad missions together if you guys ever want to. I saw Sonic’s and King’s avatars in the Administrative District near the barracks. I’m guessing that means we were in the same 32-man squad last night?

I just made it to Chapter 3 after playing several hours I spent a lot of time killing stuff and challenging the big dinosuar-like monsters, but I’m down for some squad action.
Monolith Soft didn’t really bother explaining too much about the various game modes- This is pure 90’s “You better had bought the strategy guide” type ish right here.
I spent hours exploring yesterday, opening up the map and installing probes. I tried to climb to the top of Talon Rock. You know, that giant spire overarching Primoria? You can’t. At least not on foot.
I managed to make it to the beginning of Chapter 5, and hit level 20. There’s a decent spot to grind out level 18 Prairie Lepyx, those big tall four-legged fuckers. They aren’t too hard to take down and give you around 120-130 exp. They’re located around Janpath Pain. From Oblivia, just keep running west until you hit them. Or fast travel to FN Site 117 and look around.
Quick question is anyone playing the game without all 4 packs installed? I only had space for 2, im gonna try to see if i can clear up some other space. Im not sure whats taking up data since my vc games are very small. Probably MK8&smash updates. and if you dont have all packs, how is the game running for you?
Do you have an old external HDD laying around? It’s really easy to setup. All you do is just plug it into the USB port.

Game is running pretty damn smooth for me. No hiccups.
I’ve been doing some intense ass Mario rock climbing in this game. I see this mountain and I look up it and go ‘…I don’t have my mech…BUT I’M GONNA FIND A WAY DAMN IT!’ It’s crazy how free this game feels.
The first thing I do when I get on is join a friend’s squad while I’m roaming around. I don’t know how to do the 4 man squads yet. I just finished chap 3 last night and decided to do some exploring around…I got bodied by this weird Turkey looking enemy with a backwards horn on it’s head. We were kicking it’s ass then things took a turn for the worst as it pulled out some move it hadn’t used yet and killed me and a dif person on my team. BODIED…
Got to play for a bit last night. Like maybe 15 min because i had a headache but needed to play something. Really liking it so far. When you get to the part where you and Elma are looking at the world and getting ready to head to base. Im like wtf cant believe this whole shit is fully explorable still…fuck

I didn’t jump just fought a few monsters and saved and stopped. I may jump when i play again just for the experience of it haha.

Had to get back to reality for work after the past 2 days.
Got damn !! Nothing is better than a good jrpg. Add all that sweet ass exploration and you can go hours not killing a damn thing.
I legit finished chapter 3 and explored Primordia (fought some shit here and there) until I wasn’t able to put any more probes down cause I needed flight. Worked out with all the swag I collected so I was mining and getting dat cash like a fcking boss. Add in some affinity missions (which were surprisingly good) I was around lvl 15-17.
Decided I should try some quests, realized I’m not bout that berry picking life so gathering is no go unless I already have it. Do some bounties and fuck some tyrants up. Finished chapter 4 and explored a bit of the sand Continent Oblivia(will likely be my favorite one).

Soooo… I just finished Chapter 5. Anybody else get there yet? Because that is some crazy shit.
I’m still on Chapter 3. I gotta get more surveying done before I can proceed with the story so I"m trying to do an affinity quest while I’m doing it. The place I need to get too is WAY up on this mountain I believe cause I’ve gone all around the area so I gotta find some way to do some Mario rock climbing to get up there.
Some advice, use that follow orb. Its fucking godlike. Other than getting lost and finding other random shit, pop it out to get quests done.
Saves alot of trouble.
I forgot that thing existed for a second. Thanks for the reminder. I found the way to get up there without it though. It’s a pity the ball doesn’t at least give you a general area to go to for item quests though.
I had a friend tell me a couple days ago that the guy who did the music for Kill La Kill was also responsible for the OST for this game and now I keep expecting ‘Before My Body Is Dry’ to bust out of nowhere.
