EDIT: So I made it to the island. Bunch of high-level mobs on it. Tried to approach a treasure box and got OHKOād by an enemy hiding behind it. :lol:

This game is fucking awesome im hooked. I havenāt played an RPG like this in a long time. There is just so much you can do and freedom to go anywhere is amazing.

Sadly, my special edition wonāt arrive until Monday. Iām super hype!
Took a few minutes to get to the island, and that was me swimming fast. I think Iāll wait until I get a skell before I go exploring the waters again.
I havenāt even taken my copy out of my bag. I really have no urge to play it. Iām considering just returning it because I doubt Iāll get around to playing it anytime soon.

Got to admit I am a little salty that my shorter female character is stuck with these things that are comically big in proportion to the rest of her on her chest thanks to NOA/NOE.
Still deciding how my male character is going to look faces seem to go from 12 years old to ugly to 50+ want to make him fabulous but donāt want to look like something a catholic priest would drool over.
Game itself is pretty fun though, got a slight gripe that the limb targeting feels a little unwieldy but overall the combat feels fun and the world is just a joy to explore.
Movement feels fun too, sprinting gives a genuine sense of speed and the floaty jump actually works really well for the game.
I learned that the hard way as well. I knew exactly what you were talking about before even clicking on the spoiler, lol.
