DAMN YOU! I"m fucking stuck in an affinity quest that Mustache Muscle man has sent me on where I have to collect an electric tentacle from an enemy that I am at least 95% certain is a fucking 1% drop rate on it. There’s is a 200 ft pile of Placid Duoguill somewhere on Primordia that I am personally responsible for. I kid you not by the time they give me this damn thing the whole race of these guys are going to be extinct!
Yeah got my skell last night, got a mission to take out 5 level 25 enemy mechs and was picking them off one by one because fuck breaking my shiny new skell…
And some massive asshole level 48 tyrant came out of nowhere and wrecked my shit from behind in one hit, the salt was fucking real.
Games got me tiptoing around places in my massive weapon of doom with blades and beams strapped to anywhere that can hold them more cautiously then when I was on foot now lol.
Join Prospectors Division! For whatever reason it’s the highest ranking division. At the end of the day each division gets spoils and I’ve noticed that skell tickets are one of the rewards, but they’re aren’t available to every rank of the division.
I’ve switched around a lot through divisions to see what’s up. (Prospectors #1, Outffitters #2, etc ranks are pretty much set in stone don’t think people switch).
I’ve gotten a skell insurance ticket everyday since I’ve joined and don’t even have one yet.
Affinity quest are quests to get NPC signature arts. Get their affinity up by doing soul voices in fights and completing quests while they’re in the party.
Do the quest(be careful since it may take a while to finish or be very difficult) at the end you get 1 of 2 of the signature skills they have.
Yeah, yeah I get all that. I was wondering which one involved the tentacles.
I’ve heard that affinity quests are the meat of the game, that aside from giving you new arts, they also tease out much more of the story. I’ve completed maybe three so far, mainly the required ones to progress the main story line. It seems like there are a crazy amount involving a bunch of characters not even met yet.
Can you gain affinity with each other through multiplayer squad missions? That’d be a cool feature.
So I played a bit last night…moving slow im on Ch.2 i think and I gotta do this mission near the East Gate…and I was out at Nighttime and there was this kinda spider looking thing that was like level 50 i think? That shit attacks on site and it caught me and the team and I survived the initiating attack, and I started to run away. I was running for like a minute but the “battle” didn’t end so I’m like wtf and I rotate the camera and that damn enemy moving damn near as fast as me! and it killed me…
I got stomped by that same type of monster at least like 5 times from it just running up on me unexpected lol
Vandham: OH…you’re back! Did you get m-
Me: throws that shit into his chest You should probably tell the other members of BLADE not to hunt that creature anymore…just saying…
