I’ve googled the hell out of the internet and haven’t found a single review appart from your typical press release. I find it kind of incredible that no one in the whole world has tested it :looney:
While console gamers are synonymous with very strong opinions in regards to their console of choice, one sentiment remains unanimous among the majority - the XBox 360 controller is the superior controller on all of the systems
really? lol but in all how does it work with fighting games? I heard it lags?
Just got the XCM Cross Battle Adapter Plus today… hooked it up to my Hori HRAP for xbox360… I have a madcatz te stick for PS3 and tested it side by side for comparison. im sure someone can do a more precise test but I could not find any noticeable lag… On the 1st try, I was able to do the balrog loop flawlessly on the Hori stick (ex dash upper, low jab, low short, repeat).
to be extremely picky, the only thing that was slightly annoying was the button mappings for the Hori HRAP… you have to create a custom button layout in controller settings since it does not match any of the presets…
overall, i would not have any reservations if you were on the fence about coppin one.
This is the thing to connect any xbox controller (wired) to any ps3 model? If so, then I must be able to connect a xbox-Street fighter fight pad to my PS3. Do you all know what this mean?
The answere is that you don’t have to mail mad catz anymore regarding broken dongles. Oh man…this is awsome!
Hey guys the XCM cross battle adapter sucks.
It laggs and drops inputs.
The XCM KO GEAR is 100x better than Cross battle adapter.
I just recently got it last week and it works awesome on the PS3!!!
There is no lagg with the arcade stick or Fightpad.
Works like a dream
ill try to have a review on it shortly.
Bump, there has to be some people out there that have tried the XCM KO Gear. After hearing about all the bad things about the Cross Battle I’m leary and I really don’t want to buy another stick just for PS3, or crack open my stick and put my weak sodering skills to the test if I don’t have to.
The XFPS was horrible and lagged like hell. I’m looking at using a 360 controller on my PS3 but it seems this is the only adapter available. Since it’s by XCM, I’m going to assume it’s utter bullshit as well.
So, does anyone know of any other devices by any other companies that allow you to use a 360 controller on a PS3?
Moreover, does anyone know if they’re going to be under, say, $50 USD? The Cross Battle Adapter site links me to a local .nz site, selling it for around $100 USD. In other words, forget it.
