Bump, still no review on the K.O gear adapter for ps3?
This, don’t want to buy a PS3 stick to be able to participate in local tourneys…(I don’t have a PS3).
Bought the K.O gear adapter
Well just ordered the K.O gear adapter, wil larrive in one week and will give my impressions on it, Didn’t feel like paying another 300$ for a new madcatz stick… and yes that’s what it cost here in Canada with shipping and import tax… so lame!
bumping and subsribing to the threat to see if there’s any new info with the XCM K.O. Gear for Playstation 3 / PS3 converter and how its handling on the TE sticks
Hi. I have heard that the recent “XCM Cross Battle Adapter 2.0” works very well. You just plug in your wired Xbox controller and use it on the PS3 without any lag. That’s what the SoulCalibur players from France have reported, at least. Check here: http://www.gnouz-corporation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1085
Also, from what I understand, it should be able to work on the PS3 Slim models properly, unlike the “XCM K.O. Gear.”
Jeebus that thing is pricey.
I’d be more than half way to a PS3 Tourny stick for the price these things go on ebay.
I think we need Toodles to make us a Xbox360 to PX3 adapter
At this point–I see myself buying the Cross Adapter 2.0. Has anyone else confirmed 0% lag?
if you do get it please give us your opinion about it! im very interested in this thing.
It seems like I’m in the same situation alot of you are. EVO is coming up soon, I use a regular 360 pad and compete heavily in SF4. I play better on a 360 pad and could place higher at EVO if I can use my 360 pad. I bought the XCM cross battle adapter (not the 2.0) and it was garbage. Everything lagged, might be good for shooters but terrible for fighters. Can’t find a good review for the 2.0 or the KO model that’s relevant to using it with SF, if noone comes up with one, I’ll have to just buy it and try it out. Someone please give a review for either. If noone does I’ll just buy one and let you all know how it is. I’ll need one before EVO.
I actually have the XCM Cross Battle adapter and after testing it a little bit in SSF2THDR and a PSone game i can say it works well with the Mad Catz TE. I don’t notice lag like everyone states. I’ll try testing it a little more.
